Congrats!!! I quit 157 days ago. I've gained around 9lb but I've attributed it mostly to not sticking to a deficit in my case.

Meh! Topic has been done to death. It drives me crazy when people don't use the search function...

I definately consider myself a "non runner". Started taking part in my local Parkrun 5k (completed 3 so far). I'm of the walk/jog/run/trying to avoid cardiac arrest elk..

I live in the NE UK betcha it's colder here currently lol. Agree with the above poster! I find my motivation wanes with the bad weather.

Sorry, I'm confused! Are you referring to previously having an issue with a high alcohol intake. Or just that your 'additional' calorie surplus came via empty alcohol calories? In regards to embarking on an exercise plan.. Calorie deficit is all that's needed for weight loss. Exercise is needed for overall general health.

I dropped 60lb (regained 9-10). SW 224, 5',7", 35yrs old. No loose skin. Also now no boobs! Sigh.. Definitely think genetics play a part. They say it can take up to 2yrs for skin to completely recover. And if you can 'stretch' it out & it rebounds there's a good chance it'll shrink. Skin that looks like a deflated balloon…

Meh! Whose counting....
-
It's been 208 (approx) weekends since I last had any luck. Can't see this one being any different..
-
From about the 15lb mark onwards I never stfu about my weightloss. I'm not really sure it left much room for anyone else to comment on it..
-
Weight can fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Perfectly normal. I've had 7lb fluxes before now. TOM, sodium, alcohol..

Yep, but I think we're naturally our own worst critics. It takes time for the brain to catch up. I'd gone to try some dresses on recently & asked the sales assistant to swap out one for a smaller size. She'd looked me up & down and seemed confused I'd taken one in that was obviously going to swamp me.. (stupid brain!)

Must be nice to be close with your siblings like that..

I don't get hit on. Although I'm also pretty vacant so I'd maybe not notice if I did. <<the wheels still spinning but the hamsters dead>>

Sorry I'm on my phone so I'd missed the sandwich breakdown. And you'd actually commented 'I suppose I could have had another sandwich to make it up to 700cals'. Hence I would assume you meant you made a 100 cal sandwich. Anyways regardless! You've had some good advice on here from folks.
-
One handful of peanuts would give you a good amount of cals too. If you want to eat fries thats totally fine! Same for the chocolate
-
So add another slice of cheese + butter to your sandwiches? There's another 140 cals right there.
-
100 calorie ham sandwich? One slice of bread is approx 75-80cals 10g butter approx 70cals 1 slice ham approx 30ish (wafer thin). Not seeing how you get 100 cals?

I also sweat like an animal at the gym. Even my wicking clothing struggles to keep up sometimes. It is what it is.. Some ladies may prettily perspire. Alas I'm not one of em.
-
I work 4on/4off 10-12hr night shifts. I head straight to the gym for 90-120mins after work. For me it's easier than having it cut into my time off work. I also find I sleep far better doing that. Everyone is different though.

Congrats on the 200 days! I'm 149 days smoke free. Pretty excited about hitting the 150 mark tomorrow! :D *e cig user.

Gotta love some processed crap!
-
Maybe the server hadn't washed their hands properly. It's highly unlikely the OP has a wheat intolerance they haven't noticed previously. After two weeks it's doubtful that their digestive system has freaked out over a McDonald's (processed crap or not). The human body can tolerate an awful lot.
-
Oops! double post! Good luck OP.

I could be way off the mark but to me... It sounds like you're setting yourself unrealistic goals perhaps. You don't have to eat 100% "healthy" you can eat whatever you want if you choose to. Including having fast food/chocolate/wine or whatever you enjoy. It's all about remaining in a calorific deficit. Could you possibly…

It doesn't matter if your starting point is being able to run on a treadmill for an hour. Or walk on it for 5mins. Everyone had to start somewhere once. Focus on the 1st week that you enjoyed. You'll have plenty more weeks/months like that to come.
-
Stretch/ foam roller, pop a couple of ibuprofen, take a soak in Epsom salts, rehydrate... Good to go again. Just don't overdo it.
-
I get through about 4x2Lt of Pepsi Max a week. It hasn't impacted on my weight loss. I have yet to keel over from drinking it. I have no known health concerns. Oh, and at 35yrs yet to have a single tooth cavity. I enjoy it so I drink it.

Thanks for the link to the MFP group that's great. Re: compatiblity link - I'd seen that already thank you. But I've also read some folk can/can't use it with the Z2 model. So any first hand feedback from anyone would be much appreciated.

Urgh! Didn't actually mean to post this in intros.. Oops!
