When I started working out, my eliptical was telling me 540 cals burned in 40 mins, this site said close to 1100 i think. I went out and bought a heart rate monitor that also counts calories burned, tried it this morning and had 1313 calories burned in 47 minutes......?????? Whay the heck?

I think we should all keep in mind that even if their is no weight loss, the benefits of daily training and healthy eating habbits alone will increase your energy, your outlook on life and help keep you alive longer....so, keep pushing, keep fighting!!!! I think you might be stressed so bad about it that it's affecting you. If you are doin heavy weight training, maybe you should stop....muscle weighs a lot more than fat, so if you'r e building muscle faster than you're burning fat, then the scale won't move.... Just an un-educated guess!
