It is a waste of money. You just need to do it the old school way, diet and exercise. There is no magic pill or easy way out, or we'd all be skinny. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer.

I've lost my head!!
-
I'd like to have one so when I walk or run, my shorts don't go working up north... :grumble: but not everyone has the body type for a thigh gap.
-
LMAO!

I started losing inches first before pounds and my friend was the opposite, but it took us some time to start seeing any weight loss and even when you do start to lose, you can go a few or several weeks before dropping any or anymore weight. Just be patient.
-
Sorry!! I'm a day late but I've lost 1lb this week. Now I'm 169lbs.
-
That's a crazy cool difference!
-
Yeah, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're easily frustrated. At first, the ups and downs used to bum me out, but I only log once or twice a week to remind me that I've losing.
-
I hope I can catch up to you too! We shall see what next week brings. :P

I think the right fitting pair of jeans.

I've lost 2lbs this week. That makes me 170lbs right now from 172lbs from my original weight of 177lbs. :)

I would say you need a new doctor. There are too many doctors out there like that and it's very irritating. I would change doctors and maybe see a nutritionist or a fitness specialist to see if they know of a exercise plan you could work with that will fit your changing needs. Good job and good luck, BTW.

That is amazing. Gret job!

The shake mix I have is from Body Fortress and is called Whey Protein. When I'm at home I will eat whole foods, it's just mainly at work when I can't or don't have the time to, but it's nice also during the day at home or work to just drink my shakes until that evening. I'm taking my time on this weight loss journey, but I…

I am that height and weight and I aim for 1500.

I'm 26 and a college student.

26 year old business management major (finished), and going towards RN this fall.

I've done that myself and it's just best to stick with one scale so you know where you're at all the time and not see ups and downs so drastic that it discourages you. As long as you're losing, forget what the number is, because what counts is that the number is going down... :)
-
Back in January when I was first dieting, people noticed around 10lbs, but I think it depends on what your size is too. 10lbs would be drastic on someone small, vs. a little thicker. :) I started at 177lbs, but I'm 5'8", so I'm in a little obove "overweight".

I've done both. They have their negatives and positives.... With, sweat isn't so much of an issue, without, don't have to worry about anyone seeing your underwear if you're doing a lot of stretching or a lot of movement during exercise.

Agreed.

Runtastic.

I've run into that myself. I know last year when the heat was super bad, I was retaining water badly and had a sunburn too, so I soaked in salt water (our pool is salt water) and by the next day, my retention was really low, then gone after a couple of days.

Dress comfortable, take your time, and do what makes you feel comfortable enough and slowly venture out. You're not alone.

Feel free to add me.

You have to take into consideration that other people aren't just buying for themselves and a spouse. Some people have families and that can make the total skyrocket, especially if all you can afford is super cheap-ramen budget groceries.
-
You can add me. I'm just starting out, but motivated.
-
I do when I get lunch, and I typically burn about 200 or more calories from an hour walk. Very worth it, especially when you can't promise an exercise after work. :)
