  • Thanks - feeling slightly more positive now. I feel quite motivated now that I have "a plan". And yes, I do smell much nicer lol!! I cannot stand the smell of smoke now - Day five now - and already feeling a bit fitter - think I feel better that I have just "got a grip" and have a plan now. Thanks all!
  • Not new to MFP - but back on 1200 cals. I lost 56lbs in 2.5 months, around 18 months ago and maintained it right up until October last year (I did it on a miserable total food replacement diet). In October 12, I quit smoking - and - good news bad news. Have conquered the disgusting habit, but left myself with a sad weight…

  • Thank you everyone! I also, once every three weeks, allowed myself a "day off". Usually an Indian meal with white wine. But next day, right back on it again. It IS hard, no denying it, and you need total self discipline. I think though the fact you lose around 14lbs in the first two weeks, it really motivates you.…

  • Yup, quite right Amy.. I used to lounge in the sun for hours on end. Now, I get a spray tan before I go, and then use a german product called "P20" which is incredible....never ever ever burn, and its a "once a day". I tend to wear hats now too, and go in the shade...well done you!!
