  • I'm the same way. In the past couple years I've lost about 30-35 lbs. My shirt size has gone down 3 sizes but my pant size only 1. I'm definitely a pear. The way I look at it I would rather have a big butt and hips than a big stomach and I don't mean to offend anyone at all! : )
  • I would set it for lightly active as well. You probably only work 3 days/week right? That's what I did when I worked on the floor. That way it could account for your days off. Yes, a nurse is never sedentary. No time to even pee most days! : )
  • I have a 2011 Kia Soul. I love it. It gets about 24 mpg in the city driving. You can't beat the warrantee.
  • I don't count those weight. I weighed today, day 2 of TOM and regretted it. I'm up 2 lbs. We will see what next week shows. I will log that weight.
  • When I do have to eat there, which isn't very often I will get a Happy Meal. With fries and a cheeseburger it's around 500 calories.

  • I love flavored (blueberry is my fav) Chobani greek yogurt with the Special K granold on top. Yummy!

  • I took it last year and lost 30 lbs, then I stopped and kept the weight off. I've been taking it for about 2 months now and haven't really noticed much change.   • Mine are the same way. My hips are a lot bigger than my waist, so anything I get to fit my waist is too tight in the butt. I can't win! I'm definitely going to have to take them to be tailored.
  • I just bought mine and did it twice now. I had my HRM on and it said I burned 300 calories in 20 minutes. I believe it. I was dripping with sweat! It's fun too. I just need to get a lot more coordinated, but moving is moving right?
  • I was just wondering if anyone did the Zumba on the Wii. My schedule as a single mother who works full-time makes it hard to go to any classes, plus they are awfully limited around here and expensive!!!! I'm thinking about buying the game, but just wondered if anyone had any experience.

  • Well, today breakfast is a bagel thin cinnamon raisin with PB2 and a Dannon light and fit yogurt. My favorite breakfast recipe is egg beaters turkey bacon or ham onion sometimes add black beans low carb high fiber tortilla 1 wedge of laughing cow cheese salsa It's under 200 calories and oh so yummy.

  • My weight goes up and down so much I've gotten to the point where I just weigh about once a month. I weight the week after my period ends and that's it. I too get so focused on the scale that I get frusturated and disappointed in myself. : (

  • Two of my favorite snacks right now are the Emerald Cocoa almonds. It is coated with cocoa powder so it gives you a sweet/salty combo and also a cheddar rice cake topped with 1 tablespoon of hummus. I like the roasted red pepper Sabra brand. Yummy!
  • My favorite part about my body right now has to be my torso. I can finally see my ribs and my collarbones. Not in a sickly way, just thinnish. : )

  • Thanks guys. I am an expert hula hooper lol. It is a workout for sure. I was plugging in the numbers here and it almost looks like the tennis might burn the most calories according to MFP. I think I will just put on my heart rate monitor and just go for it.

  • I haven't been doing this long, just a few months. But what I noticed is that I will lose like 1 lb one week, then nothing, then gain 2, then my period starts, then about 9 days later I re-weigh and I have lost 4-5lbs. It's done this for the last 2 months now. I have been getting frusturated, but my body must just hold on…
