Pass Day 5 today. Got in a 5 mile run but stopped tracking at dinner, got a bit snacky tonight and believe I'm a little over calories. I don't track macros but do notice that I'm usually short on fat consumption, so should probably work on that.

Used Pass Day 3 today because I decided to not even bother trying to approximate how many spoonfuls of the "Sweet Potato Pecan Pie" almond-pecan nut butter that Ds2 and his fiancee sent us. I've been running for 14 and a half years now, since the age of 47, and am now 61. These legs of mine need at least one day of rest a week--Sunday, and Thursday is usually a rest day as well. Although some Thursdays, if the weather is nice and my quads aren't feeling too achy I might go get a short run in on a nearbyβ¦

Regarding melatonin, you should start with the lowest dose, which is 1 mg. If that doesn't help, then try 3 mg. I agree with @WhatMeRunning that you don't want to take it for more than a few days at a time otherwise it's really going to mess with your sleep. I have a bottle of the 1 mg melatonin on hand and that seems toβ¦

Tracking is the most difficult for me. It's the reason why I joined UAC. I am now tracking on a more consistent basis because of UAC, but it's still difficult on weekends. Exercise isn't a problem for me EXCEPT on Sundays. Sunday has been my rest day since I started running in 2007 to give my legs a rest. I don't tend toβ¦

Sunday was a Pass Day for me. Got a little lazy. I must confess I didn't put in the effort because it's almost the end of the month and I'm way past being in the Winner's Circle. Sundays tend to be lazy days for me anyway. ;) But today is Monday and I want to end the month strong, so today I WILL follow the 3 UAC rules!β¦

3 Yesses for Saturday. Exercise was a 5 mile run in the sunshine and upper 30s. :smiley: No Winner's Circle for me. But feeling like a winner so far in 2022. Have been maintaining my weight under 135. Today's weight is 134.2, BMI 23.8 :blush:

@lesdarts180 I was nodding my head while reading your post about a balanced diet of "lots of fresh freggies, small amount of meat, fish, eggs and cheese in moderation, etc." My breakfast, lunch and snacks tend to be meat-free, but most every night I have meat for dinner--usually chicken, turkey, pork, fish, or shrimp.
