  • I have a Polar F-7. It measures constantly. It gives feedback to my watch I wear while working out. I don't change anything whether cross training or running. I think autocorrect changed "app." I don't have an app it syncs to. My watch will store 99 workouts. I just enter them once I'm done.
  • I love Turbo Fire! I had Turbo Jam and recently upgraded. Jam is a little older, but also a slower place. It was good to go from that to Fire because they have very similar moves. Just don't give up!!! Even after switching to Fire I was behind and felt lost. Keep at it and your muscle memory will get it!! I find it fun and…
  • I used Brewers yeast in pill form to help increase my supply. That's what drinking Guinness would do, but you can take it multiple times a day. I did that in addition to eating oatmeal and pumping/nursing on demand. Good luck mama!
  • Use smaller portions. I've been doing "lower" carb since last summer. And by that, it's brining that total to where it is supposed to be, not Adkins low. Other things I do...for lunch I might have frozen meatballs with other frozen veggies with a little Parmesan cheese. It has some carbs to keep you going but not over…
  • I consider gardening a good workout. Lots of lifting, walking, and digging. That's about it aside from the usual.
  • I teach math and hosted a Pi Day 5k at my school today, where pie was the reward at the end!
  • I'm actually thinking of the on demand. With the shakeo/turbo fire purchase I can also get a 30 day trial of the on demand. I'd like to try Piyo too!
  • My friend is a coach and she's getting some sent to me...I'm just impatient and want to order Turbo Fire and am thinking of doing the challenge pack!
  • Thanks! I don't mind dark chocolate. I'm just nervous to have a flavor that I'm just not accustomed to and not like it.
  • I've used MapMyRun on a track. It works well. Just keep in mind tracks are measured in meters, not miles.
  • I second the melatonin. I've been using it for almost a year. Like previous poster said, it doesn't always work, but it does help!
  • There is a challenge pack special this month on Beachbody. So sometime this month I'll be ordering it! I'm pretty excited now! Thanks ladies! I'm thinking the moves will be similar to Jam. It took a while to get the hang of the movements on that one too.
  • I think I'd really like Chalean Extreme, but I've heard people say they were constantly upping weights. I like weight lifting but I can't afford to buy additional weights and a program right now. And I think I'm going to do Piyo after Fire, once I get a little closer to my goal weight. I'm hoping around summer. @kyunda‌ I…
  • Great! Thank you! I've really come to like Turbo Jam and am just needed new scenery I guess. There's a variety of workout lengths though, right? Because I do mainly workout at night, but in the afternoon on weekends that I could make time for the longer ones.
  • If you're on Facebook check out the page, "building a new Justin." He is showing his weight loss journey starting at close to 500lbs. He's been at it for around 6 months. He's inspiring. He shows the highs and lows of what's he's going through.
  • Thanks everyone! Is the rumble roller just a way more instense roller? And is a 12" what I'm looking for?
  • I have the same attitude. Plus the fear if I stop for a day I'm going to stop forever and gain weight again. I'm learning to trust in rest days. I find after several days of intense work outs it's on the rest days that I'm losing.
  • I did it earlier. I typed in shoveling snow and it came up.
  • Frozen meatballs, California blend veggies all in the microwave with a little butter and then Parmesan cheese. Frozen chicken flavored rice, additional broccoli, and Tyson precooked chicken. Frozen brown rice, Tyson precooked chicken, broccoli, matchstick carrots, and soy sauce or teriyaki sauce. Garden salad, hard boiled…
  • I personally felt better losing weight after quitting. I thought it was a fine balance while breast feeding to eat enough to keep supply up but low enough to lose weight. I lost some, but ended up gaining it back. After I quit breast feeding I don't feel that pressure of needing to eat enough to feed my son. Now I can…
  • What I did while bf and pumping was count it as 500 calories of "exercise." That way it compensates for the calories needed to breast feed. You need to create a new exercise and log it that way. Though I did hate the fact that I couldn't tell exactly how many. I have seen people say a certain number of calories per ounce.…
  • I don't know if I have a great answer for you. But I was on depo several years ago and had many side affects that came on gradually like weight gain, and even joint pain (in my early 20s!!). I finally decided it had to be because of the shot. I don't remember how long exactly, but I know it took a long time to go away. I…
  • Thanks for the help. It's on the device. It will come and go for a bit. It was on last night, but gone today. And then eventually I "lose" a day because it dies and I don't notice until the evening. Two of the batteries were Rayovac so I was hoping it was because they were cheaper (all Walmart had at the time). This new…
  • So I went back and got the others! It's Learn and Burn, Ab Jam, and Cardio Party. I'm nervous to start! It appears like a totally different style than JM? But it looks like the learn and burn is kind of a tutorial to the program. Thanks for the advice!
  • I have the Fitbit zip and like it. It doesn't track sleep, but is more budget friendly. As far as accuracy I'm not sure. I've been sticking to my old calories that I set up on mfp and monitoring the burn on the Fitbit. I'm still losing, so it must be in the ballpark at least. I also have an hrm my husband got me for…
  • Bump!
