I think I will be echoing what most have said here, but until almost two years ago I was drinking about 5 cans on average a day of regular soda (cherry coke to be specific!). I gave it up by gradually phasing it out. I would reduce one can a week (so instead of 5 a day, I would have 4 a day for a week) so it wasnt a huge…

My weight stalled for 3 months, and then suddenly started dropping off again. Don't worry, I know it can be discouraging to not see the move on the scale but just stick with it.

Today I had two eggs, a piece of whole wheat toast, a thin slice of cheddar with two slices of turkey bacon and hot sauce :) delicious!

Planning ahead for sure. At a minimum I log every meal one day ahead of time. It really helps me keep within my goals and make sure I am not hungry as the day goes on. Plus it stops me from having any binges (most of the time!).

I plan my meals for each day ahead of time, which I find extremely helpful so I don't go overboard or run into situations like this where I have calories left and don't know what to eat. Highly recommend trying it if you can. With that said, I eat a kitkat or some other chocolate bar daily, I just fit it into my calories.…

@Ldecker4 I started out at 183 at 5'9 and was eating about 1700-1900 gross, depending on if I worked out that day, to lose a pound a week and I was working out maybe 4 days a week for an hour at most. I feel like 1360 gross combined with working out everyday is too little, and you need to eat back some of those calories. I…

They definitely run small!! I am usually a size 10/12 and both bridesmaid dresses I was fitted for were a size 14/16. I think they do it on purpose just to be cruel! Ignore the size number, don't let it get you down. It's ridiculous how the sizes run. You know your true size in everything other than a bridesmaid dress! You…

I definitely do not do a cheat day, that sounds like a recipe for disaster and to undo all the hard work from the other 6 days in the week. But I am a British chocoholic, so each day I fit a chocolate bar into my calorie intake. If I want Indian for dinner one night, I'll have it. If I want a bagel on Sunday's, I'll have…

Is there a medical reason why you cannot exercise? I know there are quite a few people on these forums who have lost most of their weight without exercise, but I certainly think that even the slightest bit might help to get you out of your plateau. Even just a 20 minute walk a day is better than nothing. Personally, I have…

Daily, really just to drive myself a bit crazy  But I don't think too much of it, it's more to keep myself in check and see the fluctuations based on what I ate or what exercise I did for the day. Weekly is the one that matters to me.
