Started back into running in september by doing walk/run intervals, 3-4 times/week. Will continue with that, while slowly increasing the running part. :) Based on this first week, will aim for 35 miles this month. 10/1 -1.85 miles 10/3 -2.99 miles 10/4 -3.13 miles

Last night was a gong show. Had to pick up and drive kids and had a work function. Didn't get home till 9:30 but still went out for my walk/run. Old Me would not have done that. :)

It has been 6 months that I have been in a plateau. I haven't found what works yet for me. LOL. I keep trying different things. Ate more for the month of August. Changed up workouts. Eating less for September. Started a running program. I am now set at 1630 cal. Not eating exercise back. Will see how that goes. One thing I…

How is everyone's week going? Today will be my last day of a 30 day walk to run program!! I am now doing intervals of running for 5 mins at a time!! I stuck to the program…did not miss a day, even during crazy back to school time, kids tryouts and hubby out of town. So proud of myself!! Have yourselves a great day!

Today I will move more at work and drink more water.

That's awesome!! I am slowly working my way to that!!

Tonight I will do my walk when I drop my son off at the rink. I will have about 40 min before he is on the ice, so that will give me lots of time. The rink is in no man's land, so the laps around the parking lot is it. LOL. Already psyching myself up for it. LOL!

I have 3 days left of a 30 day walk to run program. I will continue with some "running" and plan to add some strength. Just haven't decided yet what my plan will be.

Hi there, @ACSL3, No I am doing a Darebee 30 day program, called Walking to Running. Almost at the end of it and will have to figure out my next step. It will have me running intervals of 2min walk/5min Run. I am really enjoying it.

Hi all! I have just started running again after years off and many pounds heavier. I am not yet into measuring mileage…still in minutes! LOL! But I intend to get there! Taking it slow and steady! This thread is extremely motivational!

Hi there! I am 47 years old, married, mom of 2 teenagers -16 and 13. I have been on mfp for awhile, but I finally feel like I get it now. I really want to see my efforts pay off! I love to exercise, but I also love food! lol. I have to find that perfect balance. Just started running again. Want to continue with that.

I'm in the same boat. I just started running again. I am overweight and extremely slow. It's funny cause if I run with a friend, who is also slow and overweight, I don't think twice about who sees us. But when I go alone, I feel very self conscious. But this week, I decided, I have to get just over myself and get out…

I also have been following your story here. I totally understand your frustration. I'm sorry I can't give you advice, as I am afraid I am learning from you! LOL! Keep your chin up. Maybe stress played apart of it this week?
