VSG in January 2023 - feel free to add me - down about 100 pounds - trying to get my chit in gear to lose the last 20 I wanna lose!
-
Body Dysmorphia is real - I've lost 56 pounds and it's hard for me to recognize them sometimes! Be proud of yourself, and just know you're making changes for the positive! You'll see them eventually and your clothes will start fitting differently for sure

Are you taking new committers? This sounds right up my alley! Side note: @PackerFanInGB we have the same word for the year! #balance

RND 220 - brand new here Nicole from Indiana Not sure what my goal weight would be after this round ( I need to do one round probably then decide for next time!) but committed to hitting my protein goal AND my water goal every day and showing a loss at the end of the round...starting a day late...but on the wagon for it :)…

My faves, too! My daughter makes fun of me for continuing to watch them over and over lol

Hi everyone! I'm new <back> to MFP and just jumping in - seeing some 10 things about me so I'll do one too! What a good way to get some tidbits about someone (add me as a friend if you're into that - looking for a great community of supporters! 1. Age 54 2. Live: in an big old farmhouse built built in 1884 by a man that…

Hi :) - I'm back at MFP...after VSG surgery, I'm figuring out my life again. I'm 54, blew my knee out and needed a knee replacement but because of my BMI they wouldn't do it - so surgery, and the 'easy' part is over (trust me it is NOT easy), and now the 'me' part kicks in...eating clean, healthy, and getting into the gym…

Been on a solid streak - finally got my head outta my a** and am sticking to it - working hard towards my goals and want like minded people to help keep me accountable and give each other support. I'm a tad bit sassy, and kind of a jerk - LOL
-
I'm on day 163 of my streak - and I'm in it for the long haul. I'm focused and working towards my goals, and it's empowering to see other people doing the same! Always welcome like minded people to my friends list - shoot me a message :)
-
Mine is different this time because I finally quit making up excuses and believing them :)
-
Coddling and handholding (my own) got me to where I am today - until I finally owned up to my BS, and had people pointing out my lame excuses, I kept doing what I was doing. Now, I'm losing, and eating healthy, and getting fit...basically rocking all my goals. Funny the correlation between the two.... I welcome anyone who…

You'll get lots of opinions about why or how to "fix" this. What I've found - is that I had to finally decide that I was going to change. I let go of all the excuses, and embraced the challenge instead of giving up because it finally was more important to me to figure this out, then to start again. I still have a loooong…

Before you give it all up - go see a sports medicine doctor - - I'm only 46 (almost) and my knee is a nightmare - but I'm working through it with a sports med doctor and will keep rehabbing :)
-
I agree!!! - I've gotten most of my help, and good solid advice from guys on my friends list - and No - I'm not even that girl looking for flirting - just on here to connect with people about fitness, food plans, exercise, and life :)
-
Always looking for more people to connect with about fitness - and I love stalking food diaries for ideas - so would love you to have yours open :) - Warning - I am chatty! If you hate people clogging your feeds with randomness you might not love me (I can't imagine anyone not loving me????) BTW - I'm old! LOL 46....and…

Having a great, active, open diary friends list has been a HUGE help getting me off my feet with this journey! I stalk diaries for great food ideas - when I am debating plans, etc - I ask questions, and when I'm not checking in - many of them are reminding me to do so - and 'checking in' keeps me accountable and actively…
-
Welcome to my world - LOL - I would suggest a sports medicine doctor - while they may still say all is fine, they can guide you regarding wraps, stretches, etc that will help you along your journey! You don't want it to sideline you - so don't let it go too long!

Making excuses and being lazy has derailed me every time. I hope I'm done with that behavior....

Ohhhh how I wish I could not want pizza - Probably one of the things I miss the most - and yes - before everyone says 'you can have it in moderation' - I know that - but I can't seem to do pizza in moderation - so I just have to stay away! :)
-
STOP making excuses.... It's the only thing that really is 'working' for me :)

I like to stalk people's diaries for ideas. I'm occasionally snarky. I am awfully chatty and posty. If all that ok - add away :) nic
