Under 1,800 cals a day has been what I've been sticking to. Usually well under. Should I try cutting them down further?

I've been staying under about 1,800 cals a day usually more like 1,600-1,700

You know something...I like my coffe black but this morning I started to bring my heavy whipping cream to work with me. I did not. tomorrow I will though because people keep telling me its great for keto. And i'll deff check out r/keto

I've heard this argument on both sides pros and cons. But my dad did atkins with much success drinking 4-5 whisky drinks every night. Not arguing that its not bad for your health but it did not keep him from ketosis. Think i'll keep my after work/work out cocktails for the time being.

Yeah...I've been told by friends they make low carb powders but I've yet to find one at my local grocery store and Walmart. Guess I need to make a trip to GNC.

Im really not sure....from what I've read after some research calories are not a huge deal when your doing a keto type diet. What should I aim for calories wise on such a diet?

I used to play all the time through high school though its been a few years....now i play pickup from time to time and go out and shoot and run around for cardio just about weekly. Im American by the way gotta love some footy though.

Thank you everyone for your responses. Perhaps i made an error somewhere but i do not believe so. I will adjust my macros as jgreen0524 suggested. Also any tips for getting your fat where it needs to be? It seems hard to reach that particular percentage. Also can you drink protein drinks on keto? Thanks again guys!
