Oh I wish.... I typically gain 2-5lbs that week, but it's not from eating more, just water retention because I lose that 2-5lbs plus whatever I actually lost the next week. Major fluctuations in my world :P

This thread makes me think of one of my favourite quotes: "Your body doesn't care if your mind isn't motivated. Results are the same with or without it. JUST SHOW UP!"

How do you find the calories compare? I use the circuit training, but don't have anything to track the actual calories, so i jsut wonder do you find the estimate using the circuit training to be close to what you actually burn, now that you can track it?

Yeah! Did it. Day 2 down, 28 to go.

I know I've heard a lot of debate as to whether or not you should eat your exercise calories. Some say yes, some say no. Personally, I use them as flex calories, if I am hungry the extra calories mean I can eat a little more without feeling guilty. However, if I'm not hungry I don't eat my extra calories because it will…

It sounds like what you are eating is right on track. You do need to up your calorie intake to a minimum of 1200 though, when you go below that too often your body goes into starvation mode, making it harder to lose weight in the long run because it slows down your metabolism. As for a few of your other questions, if you…

What a great idea! Count me in. OMG 30-day shred is hard, I did it over the summer and haven't worked out in 2 months, this is the kick in the butt I need!

Honestly its only a few days to about a week, and your muscles start to get used to the activity. I suppose it also depends on your initial activity level, but for me it was about 3 or 4 days. I totally remember that feeling! My arms are still jello for for like an hour after doing it, and it's been about a month for me.…

A Vitamin B complex and Vitamin D are both very good at upping energy levels.

While you are breastfeeding - baby comes first. Its so hard to loose weight while breastfeeding, be happy with 1lb per week. Its better than what I did. I gained constantly while I was breastfeeding because if I lowered my calories I stopped producing milk (so I ended up waiting till I was done breastfeeding to lose…

I change it up all the time. I have the Wii Fit, Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum (for the Wii), A balance ball DVD, and Jillian Michaels 30-day Shred. And I inter-change them all the time. The most important thing to to keep doing something. As long as you keep your excerise up on a regular basis - the what or how you…

I tend towards smaller portion sizes. So if a meal I'd normally have adds up to 400 calories, I'll half the protien and half the carbs, so instead of a full serving its a half serving, that usually brings it down significantly.

I used to be a Jenny Craig consultant - and it was actually another consultant who introduced me to MFP. I think these two programs can really work wonderfully together. Jenny Craig gives you most the foods and the guidline to follow - and MFP helps you figure out the calories of those other foods like fruits, vegetables,…
