guys speak to me and sometimes compliment my running, but I just think of it as being nice. Maybe I have happily married stamped on my forehead. :)

sounds to me like fuel to feed your flame girl! I remember when I bought an elliptical years ago while losing weight, a family member kind of laughed and pointed out how people buy exercise equipment and mostly never use it. I knew he was insinuating that is what i'd end up doing. He was speaking from his own experience.…

I can get up at 4:30am if Im doing a group class, but if I am working out alone, it usually waits until the afternoon or evening.

Im not sure if I sweat any less than I did before I lost 100+ lbs, but I do know I get cold easily now! As soon as I start getting my heart rate up though, I am pouring like a fountain! I love it though. The more I sweat during a workout, the better I feel.

My hubby is 42, 6'0, and weighs about 195. This is the heaviest he has been his whole life. When he worked out regularly, he was around 175-180lbs. I know he is overweight because he has a gut where he has never had one. He feels sluggish and he doesnt exercise outside of his job in construction. Although he still wears a…

I went from 220 lbs down to a current 112lbs(5'3) I am 108 lbs lighter at nearly 40 years old than I was in my 20's. I dont have any tummy pics because my tummy is an awful sight but only people who know my story have a clue! I would love to have excess skin removed but financially it isnt an option right now. I believe…

Im a 39 year old stay home/homeschool mom. My hubby works out of town 4-5 days a week so its mostly me and my 13 year old girl. I also have a 20 year old son who works with his dad. I look so forward to the weekend! LOL Im currently in maintenance but lost 100 lbs in my late twenties. Been maintaining for more than 10…

I know what you mean! I recently found an old pair of jeans in my closet from old navy...maybe 5 years old that got too tight for comfort a few years back. They fit perfectly now! Truth is they are a size 6 and Ive been wearing a 4 for a few years now. Then I went to Old navy to buy a new pair and had to get a size 2! I…

I used to be like you! Ive been on maintenance for 10+ years. I joined MFP just to keep an eye on my sugar and increase my protein. Then i realized I wasnt eating enough calories. I now have my peanut butter once or twice a day. I eat lots of nuts to help make up the deficit and I am fitter than Ive been in years.Oh and I…

Your calorie burn does get less and less as you lose weight! I see people burning insane amounts of calories on here, but being 113 lbs now, I can run for an hour and barely burn 400 calories. I love burning around 500-600, but can only do that if i workout for about 90 minutes.

Those are the best NSVs! When others notice tell you how healthy you seem. Keep it up! It never gets old!

I think we have all forgotten to pay for something in the store before. When it was brought to her attention she was embarrassed and wanted to pay. They refused and arrested her and took her child away. I believe it went way too far.

when I was losing I would reward myself with a single cheat when i reached a certain goal. For example, a hot fudge sundae after i lost 5 lbs. Whatever my treat might be. Now I still try do the same on maintenance. I see people cheat the whole weekend and I believe thats enough time to undo way too much progress especially…
