  • 1. day one that I did a 20/4 fast. 2. how will it affect my hypothyroidism?
  • I am starting again....my goal is to lose 50 lbs but I am starting with small amounts first 5 lbs at a time...today I am going to begin 20/4 fasting....I hope this helps me break my addiction to food and learn that I only need food to sustain. My husband did fasting and he lost his weight...hoping for results.
  • I am going to revamp what i am eating, stop snacking after dinner and drink WATER, I also asked my doctor to switch me to an all natural thyroid medicine called Armour, hopefully all things combined will help me lose this weight.
  • I had a victory this week 4 lbs!!!....I'm 43 and will lose these 43 lbs....it's nice to be motivated and make good choices...I hope I can keep this up.....although I will adjust to lose only 2 lbs per week...I have to remember moderation is best.... Feel free to add me as a friend, I love to do the 30 day challenges with…
  • I have had no issues with 1200 calories a day, in fact when my head is in the game I am left with 500 calories at night to find something to eat....I drink lots of water and it fills me up! I never thought that 1200 might be too low for some people, hopefully you find what works for you!
  • I eat almost the same thing each day. A banana for breakfast, Greek yogurt for lunch, normal size portion for dinner and then I allow myself a snack at night. I do not believe in low fat foods as they tend to substitute for extra sugar.....as long as you eat in moderation, moderate portions you will lose the weight!

  • I just began this process 2 days ago and already see a difference on the scale. I didn't know that there was a name to my method! I am just not hungry in the morning and it seems once I start eating I am even more hungry. So now I eat some cottage cheese at 1 for lunch and save the rest of my calories for nigh time. I eat…

  • IMO I am 30 lbs over weight because I made poor choices. I now have lost 5 of those pounds because I made better choices. I now eat a very healthy breakfast and lunch and smaller portions for supper. I also walk 2 miles per day. I have found if I just keep slightly under 1200 calories per day and slightly under my macro's…
  • I am 5'5" and in the process of losing 33 lbs....I have already lost 5! I do not believe in special diets for me, I believe that if I make healthy choices and don't over indulge with a little exercise then I can lose the weight. I might only lose 2 lbs per week but at least it's being done in a healthy way and I feel those…

  • I do not wear one to bed, my VS bras are all under wire but I do not take it off until it's time for bed. I was told not to wear on to bed. I am busty girl but whatever you feel most comfortable with!
  • This is what works for me...when I follow it....I track all my food on MFP and stay a little under all the macros, I also find time to walk at work for 30 minutes (I get 2 15 minute breaks), at home I take 10 minutes each night to either lift some 5 lb weights, use my jump rope or hula hoop...I too am busy with full time…

  • What works for me is to not go over the macros set up with myfitnesspal and to walk 2-3 miles per day, I do not eat back my calories from exercise....when I stick to it, I have fabulous results! Eat less calories and the weight will come off....it takes time but I can successfully lose 1-2 lbs per week.
