  • thank you for the motivation. since I am an early bird, and live on the top level of a three flat brownstone, I can't workout at home. I hope by switching my focus on a sport/ activity I love it will motivate me to just do it. This week, I've workedout once. I plan to workout again on Friday, Saturday morning, and Sunday…
  • no matter what sports bra i wear, my 42 DDD always get in the way. and now that i jump rope so much, I'm starting to get burns from the bra straps. I guess my jugs are bouncing so much that the friction from the straps burn my shoulders.... Now that I think about it, this is probably why so many guys stare. And I thought…

  • I had the same issue. when I finially sought out a doctor, he informed me that I have high blood pressure. and perscribed a mild HBP meds (cuz I don't like the side affects from other HBP meds I've tried to take in the past) needless to say, I don't experience those dizzy spells anymore and b/c there's no side affects, I…
  • Thanks to the wonderful suggestions. especially since i wan to avoid BC as much as possible. I already take pill for high blood pressure so avoiding any more rx drugs would be great for me. I'm definitely going to try the banana, cinnomin tea, and some of the other natural suggestions. And if push comes to shove, both my…
  • I can run a longer distance at higher speed on the treadmil (about 1.5 miles at 4.2 speed), I can do more sledge hammer slams to a tractor tire, and I can do pushups easier. my next challenge is to work more w/ the battle ropes, flipping the tractor tire, muay thai bag, and bosu ball. sorry if my spelling is off. :blushing:
  • Thanks for sharing. I'm in the same boat. But High BP runs in my family. so, recently, I had to start taking meds. The hbp doesn't limit my activities. this past holiday season, my mom got me a home BP monitor. its easy to read and use and it talks to you with a British accent.
  • I'm upset with myself. I've been a member since 2011 and I am nowhere near my goal. I had times when I would get close, because I took the lifestyle change seriously. but I started getting laxed, I gained all the weight back. and now I'm starting from square one again. On the other hand, I am confident that I will achieve…
  • thanks for the encouragement.
  • I, too, was also sick for a few days. But today, I'm going back to the gym and following both my workout routine and watching my food intake.
  • I am right there with you. my mom would say that to me when she noticed I was stronger than my older brother. And until i did my research it always stayed in the back of my mind. But, when I started doing it, I liked the response I would get from both sexes. My other stupidest thing i used to think,,, were that my parents…
  • my hair. i always get complements on the color and the fact that they are locs.
  • Thank you for sharing that. It was very encouraging. Today, I'm going to focus on today.
  • Hello everyone. I've been w/ MFP for a while now and have seen changes in my weight. However, once I see changes I strart to get lazy w/ my reporting and exercising. I've been going up and down w/ my weight for too long and enough is enough!! I've decided to finanlly have a true weight loss goal in mind. It took me forever…
  • The gym isn't a commercial gym (like Bally's or LA fitness). Its a straight up gym, where people come there to have a productive workout. Because of this, I don't see too many trainers. But, I might ask some of the people using the power lifting equipment, if they can assist me. I didn't think of doing that before.
  • Sorry, I forgot to log in my progress yesturday. Last week I acheived a few non scale goals. I met my calorie loss goal (actually went over it) and logged in my food all of last week. • I'm 5"1 at 207 lbs'. And have always struggled with my weight. Most of my weight is in my chest (38 DDD) and my upper body. My goal it to be about 145, a fit, muscular 145. i beleive i can achieve this goal. And when I think about it, its not a lot of weight to loss. its probably something I can do in less than a year, if…
  • my biggest excuse (since I have a big chest) " I forgot my sports bra. And I'm not about to turn around to get it." I used to say the gym (Bally's / LA Fitness) was to crowded. So I joined a gym that's not so commercial.
  • i am currently using the GNC lean protien shake. I have the vanilla bean. I usually blend it with a glass of sugar fee juice and frozen fruit. If I have it after a workout, it tends to last a lot less than if I use it as a meal replacement.
  • this is so helpful. My friend and I were talking about this the other day. she also mentioned something about pea sprouts. Has anyone heard about pea sprouts too?
  • Good Morning. I'm glad you created this forum! This will truly keep me on track with achieving my goal for this year. And, of course, this will help motivate me too. Thx again. • in the comic, Rick's attitude does change to a borderline crazy. But I do agree with you both. He should have treated Michone nicer. I mean she brought food for the baby and info about your missing people. why kick her out now? and your own son defended her against the walkers. and you all risked your lives bringing her…
  • Today, I put on my button up shirt without undoing any of the buttons :blushing:
