  • I know this was posted a while back, but I was just diagnosed and got all the recommendations on what to do. My doctor said swimming is really good, but since I also have pots to never go swimming alone, in case by some freak incident I pass out in the water even though I have yet to actually pass out from it, and if you…
  • I just downloaded and did my week 1 day one workout today lol. I am not a runner, I love the idea of it though, but I have knee problems and asthma, so we don't mix well. So I will be doing mine on the elliptical, but that's ok, because I'm doing it! Thanks for the encouragement, it was perfectly timed for me lol
  • I am learning to love myself again :-) I am learning to respect myself again:-) I am learning to treat myself the way I need to be treated again:-) and most importantly i am learning i am worthy of all that and so much more!
  • I've been stuck between 180 and 178 since march, now it is slowly inching down, i got to 175 the other week lol. But in that time i have gone from a size 14 pants to size 12, and have lost a few inches all over. People noticed that i looked thinner even though the scale was still measuring the same. I just think of it as…
  • One of my friends had his wife cheat on him after she lost a lot of weight, though she also cheated on him when she was still heavy also, but he gave her another chance, and another chance after the second time when she did lose the weight. Now that it had happened a third time he had finally called it quits for good, they…
  • So I have 2 thoughts 1. If he is telling you to lose the weight because he wants you to be skinnier, tell him to go sit on a nice pointy big stick. 2. If he us saying this cuz he thinks you will be happier on your wedding day, and just doesn't know how to say that, then give it some merit and talk to him about it. I have a…
  • I personally have clinical depression, I was diagnosed with it at age 11 after I tried to kill myself, though I only told my mom that I was thinking about it, not that I had tried. They tried to put me on anti depressants, but my body was just too young to handle it. So I went through therapy, years of therapy, to learn…
  • I'm the same way, except when I was skinny before my pregnancies my boobs were an average B cup. I was you trademark par shape, actually still am even afte putting on 83lbs, but now I am down 30 of those lbs. So far my boobs haven't shrunk much, I thinkI went from a small D to a large C. My waist and stomach are where I…
  • Honestly, I just keep my diet and portion control in control. I have a shoulder injury that has caused severe tendinitis in my shoulder and back, so I can't exercise. My family ate relatively healthy before, but I ate way more then I should have. I don't count calories, because mentally I would just get overwhelmed by it…
  • Thank you everyone! All the positive comments definitely help motivate :-)
  • Oh and not having as much joint pain as I did when starting this journey
  • Loving this! -my wedding ring fits again and approaching too big, really important because it belonged to my great grandma. -down a pant size -needing to buy new bras and underwear cuz mine are too big, while I had smaller pants in stock, I do not have those in smaller sizes lol -having my 95lb mother in law, little half…
  • Mine are down half a size and the width of my feet is now smaller.
  • I don't weigh my food or count calories. My main focus is eating better proportions and making healthier choices. I have lost 24lbs in the past 11.4 weeks. If I want something I still eat it. I still get McDonalds, I just get a grilled wrap and only eat half of it, and get a yogurt parfait, then steal a few of my husband's…
  • Idk, I would try the contract us link on the bottom of the page. That will usually give you an email to someone that could answer those kinda of questions. I personally have lost 22lbs in 11 weeks, so averages out to 2lbs a week. I log in daily, but I do not count my calories
  • Ok well is being stupid. I have some on my profile if you really want to look lol
  • I strted at 208, when I actually weighed myself, I think I was a little more though. I've lost 22lbs since the end of October. The first pic is after -20lbs, the second was where I started. I lost another 2lbs since the picture was taken, and another 1/4in of most large parts of my body.

  • My friend lost 100lbs from diet alone, by counting calories, went from 230s to 130s in 11 months. Which inspired me to d diet to lose weight. I also can't currently exercise, I have a torn labrum and really bad tendinitis in my shoulder and back from if, very painful even if I get on an elliptical. I have lost 22lbs since…
  • I'm getting a new tattoo with my grandpa, it will be his first one ever at 76 years old lol, though that may happen before I reach my finally goal since they live half way across the Country and I don't see them very often, then more tattoos and a new wardrobe, from over clothes to under clothes lol
  • I have lost 6lbs this past month through diet alone, and cheating a little bit through the holidays :-)
  • Through being on here, I learned there are many different ways to go through this journey. But I also learned that we all have a reason to go on this journey. I have good days and bad days, but as long as I remeber why I stated this journey I always find my way back to it. I wrote myself a letter. A letter from the fat me.…
  • I do not appreciate your comment. Last time I checked this was a motivation and support page, not a bring people down page and try to make them feel like crap page, which by the way you didn't. I did not mention him by name, or even have him in any of my pictures on my profile so no one on here, unless they know me…

  • A friend of mine recently lost 100lbs in 10.5 months. She said she religiously ate 1200 calories a day the entire time. Now that she lost the 100lbs she is working on toning up. She bumped her calorie intake up to 1800 and started excersicing.
  • This is one I tell my 4 year old when he doesn't want to try something or just gives up. You will never truly fail as long as you try. It actually works for him too. It has also become a saying for myself. As long as I try I will always learn something. It might be learning from a mistake, but it's still better then…
  • I don't count calories and try to eat healthier, but I'd I want something, I'm going to have it lol. I just try to limit the amount I have. For example that chocolate craving hits, those mini candy bars my kids got for holloween work out great, but I stop at one. If I want sugary cereal, though honestly not a big fan, just…
