Can I eat bread and pasta if I am a woman with a manual labor job? Not really looking for an answer. I ate bread and pasta while losing and I eat them now that I am maintaining.

It goes both ways though. I mean, if the foods she likes makes her happy, shouldn't he support her and her choices. My husband and I are both adults, so there has never been a problem with food. He eats what he likes and I eat what I like and everybody is happy. We also believe strongly in personal responsibility.

Aspartame is the only artificial sweetener that doesn't make me sick. Agave has been the worst (severe gastric distress).

I lost over 120lbs while taking omeprazole. I am maintaining now and taking nexium. Not all people react the same to medication.

Any acidic food or drink can cause damage to tooth enamal if good oral hygeine isn't in place. Lemons, oranges, limes and other acidic fruits can damage enamal just as bad. My mom used to love oranges and lemons (she would eat them by themselves). The acid destroyed her teeth and she now has veneers.

Whatever cranks your tractor OP... I eat all the foods in moderation and I also realize the number of calories a food has doesn't determine how healthy that food is. I look at my overall diet, not each food individually. I think I will keep maintaing my weight loss the way I have been.

Same for me... I was on xenical (briefly) several years ago. I lost weight because I was afraid to eat anything for the same reason you state above.

I have never even owned a food scale. I personally didn't need to. FFS everyone doesn't have to weigh their food to be successful. Plus she is logging, so what is your point? Mfp doesn't even have such a narrow view of this site.

I can climb a tree again! We had about 8 inches of snow last week and the trees were so pretty. I decided to see if I could climb up so my husband could a pic of me and I did it! I want to see if I can climb with spikes and a lanyard now!

Well, I Do Not Want To Be Fat... I have always loved myself, which is why I lost weight. I feel better physically and I am happier now that I don't have excess weight crushing my knees and preventing me from being as active as I wanted to be.
