  • Here it is 10 years later and I’m worse off than I was before. Now I’m older, not a new mom, and have a lot more to lose. If I would’ve stuck with it I would’ve already been at my goal weight. I can dwell on that or focus on the fact that I lost about 50 pounds before and might be able to do it again.
  • I just danced to Just Dance 3 (Kinect) and it said that I got 1000 sweat points. If that calculation is right, then it means that I had burned 200 calories. I don't think that that is correct because I felt like I was working more on Active 2(Kinect), and I had only burned about 176 on it. I think that if you're able to do…
  • It is a ten calorie Dr Pepper. I saw it at Hucks convenience store.
  • Same problem here. I don't make plans about what I eat,. There for a while, I would gain a pound one week and then lose a pound the next, yo-yoing back and forth. It was discouraging. I wasn't logging my foods. I remembered why I'd gotten on here to begin with. Then, I started logging, didn't beat myself up, watched my…
  • OOOOoooo! Two of my weaknesses. Thanks for sharing. :)
  • Wow, what a journey. I admire your courage and perserverance. I hope that you reach your goal. Add me as a friend, if you like.
  • Sorry... It's in the "Settings" link in the upper right hand corner of the screen, then click "Update diet/fitness profile".
  • Yes, it will change. After 5-10 pounds of loss, I have it recalculate it for me by going to "change your goal" on this website.
  • I wonder if you could use the low calorie sugar free flavored creamers to flavors muffins, cakes, cookies, etc?
  • I was super motivated at first, and then the idea of the amount that I needed to lose, and how long it would take finally sunk in. I have to lose, every week, for two years before I reach my goal weight. I changed my goal, just to lose twenty pounds, but that is still 20 weeks. Nearly half a year. My husband keeps saying,…
  • Thanks for the recipe. That does look good. :)
  • I don't know for sure, but when you lift weights, you actually gain weight because muscle is more heavy than fat. Muscle also helps to burn calories though, so I really don't know. Maybe that's hard to measure because everyone has different muscle tone?
  • Great job. Not only do you look more toned, and as though you'd lost weight, but you can see the difference in your posture and attitude.
  • The "official" weigh in is every Monday. I don't wear anything but my skivys and it's always before breakfast. That way, the data points on the graph aren't affected by clothes, something that I ate, water, etc. I sometimes check my weight during the week though just because I feel like it, but I don't graph those on here.
  • Hi Ian! I know what you mean about the kids. Just tried to do a workout at home, and the kids were trying to climb on me. Lifting a four year old and a one year old while doing crunches... not easy. LOL I find that they enjoy going for walks with me, and at least that's some exercise. Every little bit counts. I think that…
  • Hi, Tiffany. I'm new, too. Only been on here for about two weeks. The people here are very supportive and have wise advice. Good luck on your weight loss journey. :)
  • I don't know much about this because I just started, but the minimum is 1200. So, you're getting over the minimum. The only thing that I'd be slightly worried about is if that the minimum for everyone or for sedentary people? Because if the minimum is higher for active people, then you may not be getting what you need.…
  • Maybe you don't feel like "working out" like normal... but maybe you could do some little thing like go for a short walk outside. I find that sunshine and fresh air do wonders for just about anything.
