Keto is great. I found that when I'm in keto. I have more energy, less depression, less hunger and generally just feel so much better. I've done this off and on but I've realized that it needs to be a lifestyle change.

I'm restarting keto/low carb lifestyle. I've done this off and on several times over the years. I have had success every time with weight coming off and feeling healthier. I'm so tired of the carb/sugar roller coaster. I'm looking to make this a permanent lifestyle change at this point.

How much fat are you eating? If you are already cutting carbs and eating adequate protein, you may need to eat more fat. High fat, high protein foods decrease hunger. Definitely play around with your macros until you find what is best for you.

I have suffered from intermittent depression for a good part of my life. Depression helped fuel my obesity and obesity fueled my depression. It is a vicious cycle. I have a weakness for tall men with muscular bodies (along with every other woman in the universe). I think the male entire body is a masterpiece but I have a thing for the calves. Well-formed, muscular, rounded calves do something to me.

I know I need to give it up but I feel like it helps me keep my sanity. I'm on a low carb diet. I'm gonna finish the one I have today then go cold turkey.

You guys can eat the same things, he just needs to eat more of it. For instance you may only eat 4 oz of grilled chicken and he might need to eat 8 to 10. He will need to eat much more carbs and meat than you. I think what you are doing now is fine. You may need to just cook more food so he can eat the additional portions.

No it's only further distorting the view of what is healthy and acceptable. I'm all for pushing the healthy looking barbie. Instead of finding a healthy medium, they went from impossible proportions to obesity. Give me a barbie with achievable proportions and muscle tone.
