If you aren't really really realllllly motivated and gung ho to start with then you probably will fail. You have to have your head right and your emotions and mentality right to succeed. When I started 19 months ago I was so heavy and tired that it took all my strength just to get to the gym...it was crazy. I was intensely…

This is so scary, so sorry there is nothing yet on him. I will pray for his safe return soon to his family.

No. I can't say that I have ever thought that eating food is a waste of time. :drinker: I have always thought it was a GREAT use of my time. That's why I had to lose so much weight.

Most, not moat. Also lately my fingers and wrists have gotten so small none of my jewelry fits. I had to get my wedding rings re-sized.

NOT my face, lol, I gain there first and lose it there last. Of course that's irritating to me because my face is always one of my fattest areas!! haha. I notice weight lost in the breasts first, unfortunately, and then in my shoulders, sides, and then hips, arms and butt. I notice moat people tend to lose in the face…

That's my favorite flavor too!!! Have you ever tried the Blue Bell mint chocolate chip ice cream bars??? They are totally amazing!!! I think they just came out recently.

Before I moved to Texas a few months ago I was doing Zumba at least 5 times a week, and also Zumba toning about twice a week. Now I do it 3 or 4 times a week and then a turbo class. I think even doing it everyday would be no big deal. Go for it if you love it!

When the end of your ponytail has sweat beads dripping off...the first time this happened I thought there was a water leak in the ceiling and then realized it was coming from my ponytail!!!:ohwell:

Yikes!!! I feel like a heifer in this thread. I am about 5'3" and currently weigh 158. My starting weight was 264.5. My first goal was to get under 200, then to get to 169, and my third and final goal was going to be 159. I honestly didn't think I would hit that number because I am 42, had two kids, and even when I was 21…

I am laughing about the fact that you have become powerless to Tootsie Rolls...that just cracks me up!!! I know what you mean though, I am a sugar junkie and just a little bit of a sweet that I love can be a downward spiral. :ohwell:

Awesome!!!!!!!! Way to go, you are amazing!!!

So sorry for the loss of your sister, I'm sure she would be so proud of you. You look terrific! BTW, I love Jesus too.

Congrats! Usually people don't lose that fast unless they have had gastric bypass or lap band...you didn't have that? It has taken me 19 months to lose 105 just counting calories and exercising.

Me!!!! 5'3" and 160!

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are one of my BIGGEST WEAKNESSES!!!!!!!! I love them, but I'm sure they are definitely one of the reasons I gained my weight the last time. I had them at least twice a week. ACK!!!! LOL Tim Horton's doughnuts are good, but they don't hold a CANDLE to Krispy Kreme. No way!!!!!!!!!!!!:noway:

I didn't read the thread, but the moderators pick weird stuff sometimes to lock. I have gotten reprimanded twice for sticking up for another member and then giving my opinion. I try not to respond too much on these threads anymore, or if I do I do not get involved in heated discussions. I don't want to get yelled at again.…

Zumba has never bothered my knees at all and mine can be sensitive to injury...and the classes I do are high intensity! The two cardio places I have been offer classes at 8 or 10 bucks so unless you go only once a week it's cheaper to just be a member!
-
Just go!!!! I went to my first Zumba class with a friend and she didn't like it so after that I always went alone. It's a little intimidating at first, but it's not bad at all, and within a few weeks I knew tons of new people. That will happen to you! Be brave!!! GO AND HAVE FUN!!!

YES!!! Dennis Quaid!!!!!!! I was going to post him if I didn't see him on here. I saw him in person in New Orleans years ago!!!

Good luck with your juice fast! I have thought often about doing one and still might. I have done the Master Cleanse a few times and the Shakeology cleanse, and they were both very successful. I think cleanses are great for jump starting weight loss or breaking a plateau. People on these forums always get upset when anyone…

Jeepers Creepers, The Exorcist, Jaws, The Grudge, Rosemary's Baby, Halloween...I love scary movies!!!!

I had just turned on the TV in my bedroom and oddly it wasn't on Nickelodeon like it normally was, and on the TV were the towers with smoke coming out of one. Diane Sawyer was talking about an airplane and how planes weren't supposed to be flying so low...I didn't know what the heck she was talking about, I thought maybe…

They have a separate menu called The lighthouse menu or something like that, I think you have to ask for it, but they have lots of really good stuff on there for decent calories.

Whew! That's a relief. LOL I was thinking the poor girl lost weight and looks awesome but now her eyes are crossed!!!!

You are worn out just getting ready to go to the gym, and by the time you tie your shoes, drive there, and walk in you want a nap...
-
LOL I would be mad if I couldn't wear anything also! It's going to really start to smell in there!:frown:

I love perfume/cologne but I'm picky, I don't like the super fruity or floral scents, but more of the musky/spicy ones such as Chanel "Coco", Prada "Amber", Fendi, Opium, DKNY "Delicious Night." I love men's cologne even more than women's, men have better choices. My husband wears The John Varvatos ones like "artisan" and…
