But how much is too much? Did your doctor say? I am curious about this because my dad has developed diabetes and before my donation surgery, they did so much testing to see if I was likely to develop diabetes when I get older. Thanks. Oh and my dad is not even close to being overweight...

To be honest, I don't log it. Logging the major stuff would be a good idea but I think it would still be best guess? Are you going to weigh the meat in the sandwiches and the sweets?

If anyone wants to add me, feel free. Just a quick tip, don't think of it as a diet (it's too daunting), think of it as your own personal healthy lifestyle change.

900 calories a day isn't enough for anyone, male/female or my child.....at the very least, follow the calorie guidelines MFP calculates for you

First, don't think of it as dieting, think of it as a healthy living lifestyle change. Second, make small changes as a start. Instead of sitting through commercials while watching TV, get up and jog through them. Also, replace a couple unhealthy food choices for good ones during the week. Small steps can get you very far.

All four phases of the Dukan Diet—named for French physician Pierre Dukan, its creator—are heavy on do’s and don’ts, and even the slightest slip-up is considered destructive. The slightest slipup? No thank you. I would rather eat what I want and make it fit in my daily goals.
