Me 15 LNS 2* My twins made cupcakes after school and tonight at 7:30 (half an hour after my cut off time), I was in the kitchen and took a spoon and had a nice taste of the icing...and then I noticed the time!!!!! My son said that if I'm going to mess up I should be doing it with something better than a spoonful of icing.…

April 23 Me 14* LNS 1 I have been saying to myself that if I can just get to 9pm the rest of the evening is easy. So if my last snack is at 7pm then how hard can 2 hours be? Truthfully it is really hard (especially when I just baked banana loaf for my kids' lunches and it smells so good!!!).

I really need to do this...this may be my next goal!

April 21 Me 13* LNS 1 Jeff, that's a great idea about the guitar, I've always wanted to learn to play. I play and teach piano but don't play as much anymore...I'll have to try some evening sessions at the piano as I do love playing and it would be a great distraction!

You did it!!! Congrats!

Keep at it, you can do it!!!

April 20 Me 12* LNS 1 Last night I came home at 8:45pm and was upset over something (nothing serious but enough to change my mood). Normally I would stop caring about challenges/weight loss/healthy eating but I just kept thinking of posting my results and stayed away from the kitchen. So thank you everyone for the great…

I always have my fuel belt on for water as I drink a lot while running. On long runs I also bring Gatorade and fuel. At races I usually drink my water plus the water at the aid stations. Plus if it is super hot, I can use my water to dunk over my head!

Mine did the exact same thing today...I ran 10km and had lots of exercise calories. By 9pm I only had about 100 exercise calories...no idea why!!!

Me: 8* LNS: 1 I went for a run tonight and forgot to have a snack before I left. Got home after my 7pm cutoff time for LNS and I was like "Nooooooooo!!!!!" It wasn't a huge run so I really didn't need to refuel but I've been a little hungry...early to bed tonight!

Hi Jeff, can you try something else to try to help you get to sleep? It sounds like you were doing well until you went to bed. Maybe some relaxation music or look into breathing exercises? I count myself to sleep...breath in while I count to three and exhale while counting to three. Focusing on this makes me fall asleep so…

I'm an emotional eater and prefer chocolate over everything. What I did notice was that I always ate it in the evening, so now I'm not eating after 7pm. Just giving myself that one rule is really changing how I look at food. I can eat chocolate anytime I want but because I don't eat after 7pm, I'm just not that interested…

Me 2* LNS 0 I feel so much calmer knowing I'm not going to eat at night. Plus my meals are more filling as I'm not worried about saving calories for the evening.
