I'm joining this late, but could use some support for some bad late night eating habits. My brand new commitment to myself is to log everything no matter what. (I have found that I tend to go with the philosophy that if I don't log it, it didn't happen.) I usually eat great all day, but something about nighttime really gets to me and I find myself standing in front of the pantry, looking for breads, cereals, sugar…ANYTHING really. I'm also going to attempt to stick to a 12 hour fast, so my last bit of food should be no later than 8. I eat breakfast around 8am, and I've heard that if I get a good amount of protein in for breakfast and lunch the cravings at night are seriously diminished. So, fingers crossed on that front. Here are my stats thus far:

I feel so much calmer knowing I'm not going to eat at night. Plus my meals are more filling as I'm not worried about saving calories for the evening.

I see a couple of people just joined yesterday, this is a great idea I'd like to join starting today which is the 10th,
Stick to my calorie intake and not eat later than 10:00 pm. I don't get home till 8:30, so this is perfect, if I have calories left, then I can eat till 10:00, if no calories left, then, water, and tea, or crystal light.

    Thank you,
    Arlene

Calling it at 10:20 pm, last few hours have been tough but now I'm putting it in writing so no snacks! (It's especially hard because my SO bought my favorite snack for himself. Want.)

Welcome to all the newcomers. This is fantastic!! This challenge really works and can be tailored to anyone. If you work and eat late, just make your cut -off time a set time before your bed-time.
I have been very tempted the past couple nights, but this challenge has kept me motivated to avoid all calories after my 9:30 p.m. cut-off. So...

I'm back after several months and gaining several pounds. Last night I was able to restrain myself and after some peanuts for my snack, I called it a night. I don't usually stop once I start snacking but for 1 night, I was successful. It's a start... :)

Had an excellent couple of weeks, but I'm starting my count with yesterday's massive failure :-(
Luckily, it was partially a planned failure, since I like to give myself more room to be naughty some days in the week, and no room at all during others.
