  • If you're looking for something filling, try Wendy's Chilli without the cheese, and add a plain baked potato. You can dump some of the chilli on the potato and it is sooo good. Or you can make that at home in about 5 minutes. pretty light, and very filling. :-)
  • Mine has been lame, and I haven't lost anythig. So if I give any advice: be consistent whatever you end up doing
  • EVERY SINGLE MONTH! I neeeeeevvver weigh myself on my TOM. bad bad water weight. Apple Cider Vinegar helps if you're concerned about the extra lbs. But. Yep. It's all TOM's fault
  • count up how much cheese and what was on the toppings and just calculate that. I've done that before. 1 oz of cheese is about 1/4 cup shredded or i'd say 1 slices worth (on your pizza). Hope that helps.

  • I'm curious. For the last two weeks, I've been nursing a sprained ankle, and it's been tough. I woke up the other day and weighed myself and I was right back at my starting weight. (granted, I was holding a lot of water due to hormones), but I'm wondering if I haven't built a bit of muscle too. Since I hurt myself, I…
  • through 1000 calories at your lunch, and eat broccoli for dinner. You probaby won't be hungry come dinner time, and even if you are, broccoli is full of fiber and low in calories. Be good tomorrow.
  • So, since last Monday, when I sprained my ankle, I’ve been really bad. I was good, up until the weekend, and I’ve gone to dinner parties Friday, Saturday and Monday night this week, which consist of me throwing all caution to the wind and eating like a crazy person… Everyone else is, so why not me right? Today: No excuses.…
  • Great adivce all. I'll try the arm circles, and abs stuff. maybe some pilates. I'll definitely let you know how it goes when I start back up again with cardio. I know I've been working out hard core for a long time, so my metabolism could use a cool down and kick start. Thanks.
  • And I can't do anything physical. I think my butt has actually molded to my chair. My Question is: should I eat less than my 1200 if i'm really not moving at all! ??
  • Yeah today I used mapmyrun.com to find out how far it would be if I walked to my night class. It was a whopping 2.5 miles, so I decided I'd make a work out out of it. On the way... I twisted my ankle, and my fiance had to pick me up. So... no exercise calories for me today... and probably not for a while.
  • I worked at Starbucks for 4 years an MASTERED the lo-cal latte. If you're not into sugar free stuff- which is really bad for you (but we pick our battles). My Favorite: Tall(that's 12 ounces) non fat, one pump of whatever flavour you want (25 calories or less), and a doubble shot. so.. i get a double tall nonfat one pump…

  • OH yeah, I'm about to pop onto my computer right now and watch it. Can't wait. I was so HORRIFIED that Brad didn't choose her last time. (kind of a fan of the show). So I'm glad she's getting a second chance.
  • Don't do it. You'll do way more harm to your body than good, and you'll end up spending way more money on getting healthy again. Not worth it - trust me, been there. Wish I could help you with the money thing though... I hear ya. Try www.daveramsey.com.... great money advice.
  • I get that way when I eat too many carbs: gluten in particular. Might want to lay off the wheat. I know it sounds nearly impossible, but substitute brown rice for the carb in your meals, and you'll fill up the calories real quick... and rice is very easy to digest. Also, protein drinks, tend to be loaded with sugar, if not…
  • My question is why does it say you burn less calories running at a slower speed like 10 minute mile vs. 9 miute mile, when depending on your fitness level, You could be burning a HUGE amount just due to being out of shape. Like for me... running a 10 minute mile for 5 miles really kills. I have to be burning a ton of…
  • Glad to see so many on this. MFP Start weight: 159 Current weight: 156 Goal weight: 140 How am I going to do it?
  • I totally agree with this post. I started taking AVC for weight loss reasons, but it actually got RID of my allergies. Now I take it all the time. It didn't make me loose weight by the way, just 2-3 water lbs. but, the other health benefits are way better. Drink up. But only 2-3 TEASPOONS (NOT TABLESPOONS) a day. any more,…
  • OOOH Eat some popcorn with sugar on it! Or if you have any caramel sauce. ooooooo,

  • me too. it's day two of "Getting serious". I got on the scale on Sunday and saw SHOCKINGLY that i was 159 lbs! And I started this MFP at 154 LBS wanting to loose. I started running 3-5 times a week, and felt great. My body felt like it was changing for the better, but I Didn't watch my calories EVERYDAY. I'd eat about 1300…
  • try these: Think Thin Bars.. www.thinkproducts.com They're gluten free and full of protein at 220 calories, with a good large glass of water, they'll keep you full for a good 2-3 hours. Also, I recommend microwaved potatoes with garlic salt and fat free sour cream. The baked potato has a high fiber/satiety count as well as…
