  • Looks like you have a good head on your shoulders...you just need some help with starting. Feel free to friend me :) I've been here for three months and have lost just under 27 pounds. I've learned a lot and will share anything I've learned with you. It just takes a lot of hard work and dedication... but you can do it!
  • It sounds like starting on MFP could help you a lot since you are already active. Just keep doing what you are doing, but eating healthier. And I don't mean clean eating. I'm three months in and I've lost just under 27 pounds without clean eating. Just watch and track your eating, stay under a calorie deficit and you…
  • I'm around your age as well. Feel free to add me for support!
  • No doctor would recommend you to eat less than 1200 calories a day. That's very unhealthy and your body can't stand it. Try upping your calories to AT LEAST 1200 and you might see some loss.
  • Feel free to add me!
  • I believe a lot of it has to do with your starting weight. If you started at 150 and lose 20 pounds, you're gonna see a big change. If you start at 300 and lose 20 pounds, you probably won't see a difference at all. If you are a size 26 (US) it would probably take upwards to 40 pounds before you might go down a size. I…
  • I'm an every day-er. I found I didn't like weighing in once a week because what if I was just bloated? I weigh in every day and I don't get discouraged by the fluctuations. In fact, I like knowing what something I eat or exercise does to my body. I usually use the lowest weight during the week to record my weigh in.
  • I started going to the gym at 232 lbs and am still going at 210 lbs. The gym is my biggest motivator. I usually go at night, about an hour to an hour and a half before they close. I do that mainly because it's the best time that works for me. It's the only time I've ever gone. If you go at the same time every day/night…
  • I've never been at a healthy weight either. For motivation, I just think about how I'll be 20 soon and I want to experience what most people get to experience when they are in their 20's and feel comfortable while doing it. I want to go on dates, go dancing, go shopping in any store and not a plus size store with my…
  • There is a lot of different kinds of clothes I've not worn since...say 5th grade. (I've always been fat.) Back than I lived in a desert and used to wear shorts, tank tops, two piece swimsuits (not a bikini). Then we moved away, to a place that is winter 6 months of the year and I started covering up...and I just never…
  • I'm 5'6 and have lost 18 lbs so far (SW: 232) and nobody but my grandmother (who I see every day) has noticed and has said she's noticed it in my face. I have noticed my stomach getting smaller but not anything from my face. Nobody else has said anything in my daily life. I'm anxious to see what my doctor will say when I…
  • Speed The Parent Trap 13 Going On 30 Titanic I watch a lot of movies, but I don't think I watch a lot of movies more then a few times...
  • Into The Storm 7/10
  • Hi Leslie. If you are 5'6 and 113 lbs that technically declares you underweight. In your pictures you look extremely underweight. If you want to look like your 'want' photos you will have to gain weight (At least 10 lbs!) and do strength training to tone.
  • My dad is a trucker as well. He is home usually every Sunday though. My mom cooks many meals every single Sunday and then freezes them in small glad bags. He keeps them in a cooler under his bed and unfreezes/microwaves them whenever he wants one. It's a good way to keep the portion sizes right.
  • I'm the exact same as you. I'm 5'6, currently 218 lbs. I have an A cup and a huge stomach. My arms and thighs aren't nearly as big as other people who are more proportional. I also carry a lot of weight in my face. But what that person said about PCOS could be right. I haven't officially been diagnosed with PCOS yet, but I…
  • I started at a gym when I was in the 10th grade years ago and just really enjoyed the weight machines. I fell off the band wagon and just started up once again over three years later at a gym. I had a free personal training session when I signed up and he said that weigh training the the most important technique to losing…
  • It's nice to know that I wasn't the only one! I'm hoping my cup size will grow to be at least a B when I lose more weight, that would be so much better then an A! Only time will tell! Congrats on your weight loss! You've loss a tremendous amount! :)

  • I've never been addicted to pop/soda (spent my entire childhood in California and Minnesota :) ) and I was never addicted to caffeine (I don't drink coffee, loved the pop without caffeine, i.e. sprite). But I believe I am addicted to the sugar. (I hate diet pop immensely. I hate artificial sugar overall.) Just about seven…
  • I could afford Victoria's Secret if I wanted, the problem is they don't sell my size. :(

  • I'm making do with the walmart ones for now. There is no way I could afford a custom bra (I'm a poor college student). It just gives me a little motivation to lose more weight to get down to a size where I could actually walk into a Victoria's Secret and be able to find a bra and have it fit. ...It will happen...eventually.

  • I have 115 or so friends and that probably more then I can handle! I like being able to go through my news feed until the last time I was able to see it and for it to not take an hour to get through. Also, I like to remember my friends... If I had 800 friends, I just would see people I have no idea who they are. And what's…
  • I've been wearing size 1XL-2XL shirts and size 16 pants (all US) for as long as I can remember. Today I was just looking around the stores because I didn't have anything else to do. I decided to try a size 14 pair of jeans and a couple of XL and L shirts. All of them fit, so of course I HAD to buy them. :) Only 12 pounds…
  • Hey Barbie! Nice to meet you! :) Friend me if you want. For exercising, I like to take my dog on 2-4+ mile walks (sometimes I bring a friend!) which burns 200-400 calories depending on how fast you walk. Then I try to head to the gym and weight lift. for an hour to an hour and a half. Whatever you do... lifting is the most…
  • Hey Kaitlin! Feel free to friend me and message me whenever! I'm on everyday and have an open diary. I love to talk with people! I'm just a couple months shy of turning 20, so we are similar in age. :)
  • I've only been to one concert so far (Grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere, five hours from a city that musicians tour!), but I have to say, Brad Paisley puts on an awesome concert!
  • I'm 223.5 currently and 5'6. I wear a US 16 jeans, and comfortably 1XL-2XL shirt. I carry the majority of my weight in my stomach with smaller hips and bust but wide shoulders. I can't wait until I can wear a XL or L shirt comfortable!
  • Everyone can add me! I love new friends! I started a month ago tomorrow and so far have a 23 day streak! So I'm on everyday and I comment a lot. Feel free to add.
  • Ravenclaw or Gryffindor please!
