  • Does she like oatmeal. You can pimp it with dried fruits and cinnamon. I also suggest avocado. Guacomole will work as dip or spread it on bread. And how about dried beans and peas. Try dishes like dhal and hummus. Perhaps she will enjoy that. Good luck. I wish you all the best and hope Things will Work out for you and her.

  • Sounds like the normal learning-curve when you start logging cals. At first you are chocked to see how high certain foods are in energy. Then you spend a while seeking out foods that are tasty and filling for the cals. After a while you realize that your allowance will increase when you excercise. there you have your…
  • add me on Garmin ;-) I´m abelcat there ;-)
  • Well I can´t tell what triggers your tears. When I lost a dear friend to cancer in may 2013... it was when I drove my car I couldn´t stop crying. All summer I feel I cried when I drove...! I still miss her, and mourn her, but the tears have dried up now. My advice is to let it all out. Ignore other members in the gym. Let…

  • Hummus, Dhal and other blended pea-dishes... yummi and dense in nutrients.
  • It can´t be helped. You have to guestimate. ;-) Eating out is allways a challenge to log correctly.
  • OMG Yes!!! You´ve lost a lot :D Nice job.
  • Walking is a great way to excercise and people tell how they have lost A LOT by walking. Often the very heavy members start their excercise regime with walking, biking and swimming. Personally I started walking and I own an Electric bike. I think you can make it. Start with a few steps everyday... and then: don´t stop. 35…
  • Yes.. supposedly cats land on their feet. And aren´t cats supposed to miav? Mine can´t... :p she is kind of mute with a rare noice of *piv* hehe.
  • I´m a catperson. Love dogs if they belong to others. Can´t be bothered with the walking, barking and farting of dogs... :D :D :D Osborne is a great name for a male dog!!!
  • Hi I´m Danish. No Wiking, not playing with Lego all day and my home features not much Danish Design (can´t afford it..hehe). This caught my eye and I added you ;-) *But I love words! I love reading other peoples thoughts online, I love the warmth and support on this message board. Sometimes we all just need someone else to…

  • Ok... You look absolutely cute in both Pictures. The second dress is very beautiful... but the girl - stunning in both. Just saying... not to knock Down your hard Work, but to boost your confidence (should you ever gain back a few Pounds)
  • Hey... need this boost. Am struggling a bit to keep the steam up. • Hehe... do you like coffee? Make a bowl of coffee, a thick layer of milkfoam (200 cl whipped wery dense) and a sprinckle of sweet cocoapowder. Drink coffee, spoon the foam... It´s not icecream or whipped cream, but still very comforting and filling. This is my go-to-snack when I am tempted to snack to much. aprox. 100 cals…
  • The steps will not show, but your cals burnt will appear in your food-log. Your allowed cals will up ;-) the more you walk... ;-)
  • Who took the Picture?? just kidding ;-) you look fantastic all of you!
  • Why assume randalation won´t allow dad to enjoy life. Perhaps the tracking is about ensuring dad eats enough? Here´s a shoutout to those caring for loved ones... ;-)
  • If you´ve got the legs... and the confidence...and the nice skirt... go for it ;-) See: I didn´t mention age,- because it shouldn´t matter. Not at 50... perhaps at 80?? ;-)
  • Ok BigDog... Thanks. I was allowed to enter the challange being Dane and was able to pick Copenhagen as my timezone. But the challange is not geared for metrics and kilometers. It appears users have been struggling with Endomondo not synching correct km to miles. I will have to Google this a bit more... ;-)
  • Hey ... I´ve joined the team. I have a question. In Denmark we travel kilometers ;-) not miles. If I track my rides by Endomondo will the app do the math for me and log in miles on the bikechallange? Or will I have to do it myself manually?
  • Two reasons why I keep my diary private is 1. my diet is so boring people might suspect I´m OCD. Oatmeal or omelets for lunch and breakfast, fruit or ricecakes for snacks dinners are a variety of Soups made from frozen veggies, fisk or chicken made in wok and extra chickenstock to make a filling meal. This keeps me…
  • I added you ;-)
  • Perhaps introduce him to the successtories,- or maybe there´s a Group for members with the same health-issues as him. It´s very tricky trying to motivate others,- I fear your eagerness can annoy him and put him off. Personaly I tend to feel attacked if somebody offer advice I didn´t ask for... just suggesting this in a…
