Open your diary and we can take a look. I can't lose weight if I eat exercise cal's back. I know, everyone says "eat more", but it doesn't work for me. I have my activity level on "slightly active" because it's not including workouts. I'm 161 and 1260 is what MFP sets for my calorie goal. I have to try to get it right…

Thanks! I hadn't thought about Tai Chi. My gym offers it at 5:30 am (lol, never gonna happen) but I will look around. Thanks again!

Hi, I started here at 174, and am 158 now. Anyone can add me :) I'd love to get in the 130's as well, got off track for a week or so, but I'm back on the horse! And when I say horse, I mean elliptical. ha! Would love to have lots of friends with the same goals :D

You guys are pretty funny! I am eating at a deficit and I do squats and lunges. I am maintaining, defining there, so I guess all is well. Thx for all the advice!

thanks for all of your input! This gives me a lot of insight and a lot to think about.

These answers make a lot of sense. I've thought that I would need to stay on MFP for an extended period after reaching my goal (still another 30lbs to go.) I'm going to need a LOT more healthy recipes! lol

I agree with most everything here, listen to your body. I'm still tweaking calories, timing, etc. My best results come from hard workouts, (make sure you're adequately hydrated--keeps you 1/2 way full ;)) Also, get plenty of fiber and some good fat. I like to have a salad w/ reduced cal/fat dressing as my evening snack. I…

I can relate to sooo many of these posts. At the moment, I'm a stress eater. I'm at home w/ my 3 kids (14, 5, and 4) and it seems someone is always bugging/fighting/screaming/whining/begging. It's hard, but I'm trying to reach out to people to talk instead of going for chocolate or cookies. I'm trying to do something about…

I'm only about 2 wks in, but I'm going to weigh once a week. I get frustrated if I don't see loss every time I step on the scale. Said the impatient girl ;)

We don't mean to beat you up about eating, but it is your fuel. If you don't have enough fuel, your systems can't operate at their full potential (just like a car) I think eating more frequently keeps your metab going, oh, and I've heard to start every day with a little protein. I have pb toast everyday. :)
