Over the summer, I was able to complete 6 out of the 9 weeks of the Insanity program. I had to stop because I ended up with shin splints and hurt both of my knees. But, I personally really enjoyed it while it lasted. I felt so much stronger and my flexibility increased a lot. Good Luck :)

You are NOT fat. But when you calculate your BMI on MFP, it should tell you your healthy weight range for your age and height :)

For Insanity, you can go to insanitycalories.com and after you put in a little information it will tell you :)

When people talk about eating at least 1200 calories, they mean NET calories after exercise.
-
That makes so much sense. Thank you!

Well, my calorie goal is 1300, so any exercise I do is going to put my NET under 1200. I just don't see the point of working so hard to burn those calories if I'm just going to eat them back again.

I'm glad to hear that, thank you guys :)

All of these posts really helped me understand better, thank you so much! You guys all put exactly what I was looking for :)

If I know I will have enough calories, I will snack. Don't be afraid of snacking if it fits in your plan. Try drinking lots of water. It makes you feel a lot more full. If I don't have the calories to have snacks throughout the day, I keep myself busy and distract myself so I forget about the feeling of hunger :)

Thank you everyone for the feedback, it does really help! I'm going to keep everything in mind and maybe add in some more cardio :)

I'm always willing to support people! I'm also in High School, and also looking to lose another 30 pounds or so :)

I have the same thing happening to me! I learned that other people who aren't trying to lose weight don't understand the portion control and moderation. They think it's wrong because that's not what they are used to. You have gotten so far and you're progressing! Don't let any one say anything to make you doubt what you…

Personally, when I'm trying to cut down portion sizes at dinner time, I drink a glass or two of water while I'm eating. Makes me get fuller so much faster!

Hi! I can see why that would be so frustrating! I would suggest trying to log everything onto MFP and make sure you are staying within your calorie limit. You seem to exercise a lot, so another problem could be that you're not eating enough. Technically, your net calories shouldn't get below 1200, or you could go into…
