  • I'm in the exact same boat... Started over again today! It's worked for me before and I know it will again when I stick with it! Feel free to add me! Debating on making my diary public again, that helped me a bit last time too... I didn't want to be judged!
  • Do any of you have favorite recipes (specifically quick and easy things for someone who hates to cook) that you'd recommend? I haven't started cutting things out yet and don't really know where to start!
  • I just found out yesterday I need to start a high FODMAP elimination diet... and I need to get back in the habit of logging, as my weight has been creeping up! I need to do some research though as most of my go-to foods seem to be on the "avoid" list, so this will be a great resource!
  • I had a Diet Dr. Pepper problem. I was a total grouch when I decided to just stop drinking it... that lasted about 2-3 days. I had headaches, was convinced I was starving, wanted to just drown myself in a gallon of it, etc. I just figure that's all of that crap/not-real-food getting out of my system, though, so I stuck…
  • I'm working on 20-30 lbs after my second baby, too! Also am working on growing my circle of MFP friends. :)
  • I had a similar starting point, and am pretty sure I've gained/lost 700 lbs over the course of the last 4 years and having 2 babies. I'm about 25 lbs from my pre-baby goal now, and I'm about 5lbs up from where I fell off the wagon last time. Most of the friends I had before aren't active anymore or have totally…
  • I'd love more mom friends! I'm a mother of two girls (2 & 4), work outside the home, and need to get back on track! When I was active on here before I was successful - I just fell off the wagon and am getting back on! I have about 25ish lbs to lose, I think. I'm more concerned with not being so fluffy.
  • Feel free to add me, too - was just on here thinking I needed some more support in my circle. :) I'm 31 and have a daughter who just turned 3 and another who just turned 1. I work 40 hr/week at a desk job, but including daycare drop-off and commute, I'm gone every day from 7a- 530 or 6p. My husband's hours are the same,…
  • C25K.com, to the person asking where to find it. :) I used the treadmill version because I was NOT running in the dark, snowy, icy, winter grossness, but I think the different versions pretty much work the same way. :) And honestly... if I can do this, anyone can. I've never been a runner, I had knee problems for awhile, I…

  • Thanks :) I love being able to be excited about this without feeling lame or like I'm bragging. :)

  • Thanks! Need to update the picture... she's two now and I have another! :)
  • Here's my non-certified, non-scientific input... I will say it's worked for me at least! 1. I got a heart rate monitor not long after I started. It's not a fancy one but like being able to wear it when I'm doing something that I think *might* be considered a workout, and I know I'm able to log calories burned accurately.…
  • I figure my calories are more of a range... I try to stay close to goal, but some days I'm over and some I'm under. As long as I'm not consistently over or seeing numbers that are very significantly far from goal (either way) I figure it's okay. It's worked for me so far. :)
  • I am! (I'm looking for some more support, too!) My older daughter turns 2 on Friday and I have a 2-month old daughter now, too. I gained almost 50 lbs with my first and lost that plus some before I got pregnant again... gained about 40 lbs last time. Now I have to lose it all over again! At least I know it's possible. And…
  • That's the worst... so sorry!! We've got the same starting and goal weights... you can totally do it... which means I can too. :) Sending you a friend request... you can never have too many cheerleaders! :)
  • I am by no means an running expert (I was just starting, got pregnant and quit, and now I get to start up again), and I know a couple of people mentioned slowing down helps, but I wanted to add to that. I may be completely crazy, but I find myself trying to keep up with the beat of whatever music I'm listening to. It took…
  • Hello :) I'm kind of re-joining MFP... I never officially meant to quit, but I'm 10.5 weeks pregnant and it's been rough so far eating anything or functioning all day, much less counting calories & actually being active. I just found this group/topic... hopefully getting involved & seeing all of your successes/advice/etc.…
