Wow that's crazy expensive. The idea behind it is alright. Like 4 people in a group with a pt. I think they cover nutrition, too. If you've got the money, try it. But you can lose the same size with a $29.99 gym membership and a little homework on MFP. So whatever you decide to do, good luck!

The protein shakes are fine. As far as the teatox goes, you can find a better use for your money. You already have a detox machine you got for free when you were born.

I've never tried it. However, from that description if I ever come across it I'll be getting it. "This barrel aged dry cyser (’size-er’: a honey wine made with apples) was made with fresh-pressed Michigan apple cider and aromatic Michigan wildflower honey. Fermented to dryness and aged in charred American oak barrels. Huge…

Drink it when you want it! Meal timing is basically irrelevant.

I used to worry about it, now I kind of own it. You get to a point where you're in shape and eat pizza, ice cream, cake, candy bars, etc. and people start to think you're a genetic freak. I know it's hard, but keep focusing on yourself and your goals and not what people think. Keep thinking "This is for ME and not anyone…

I wanted to quote this to make sure you saw it. These photos are now your prized possessions and can serve as motivation. A lot of people remember exactly when they saw "the photo" and immediately knew they had to make a change.

It could be dangerous but a lot of guys (and some women) weighing in for MMA cut out water almost completely the last 24 hours. Basically they just eat a little bit of ice to keep their mouth dry. This is the uber extreme and I'm not saying to do it. You could check out some MMA, Amateur Wrestling, or Boxing techniques as…

The issue is when he came back and decided to get all pushy. If he would have been polite and explained the situation, I'm sure something could have been worked out. There's really nothing you can do about people like this. Well, nothing that won't get you kicked out of your gym :)

I understand her frustration. Losing a pound a week is great though. She should be commended for that. Some things to remember for her: Weight will fluctuate. She may have lost more than a pound a week. Maybe less. Who knows? Don't freak out over 1 pound. A TREND of weight-loss is what is important. People here are fond of…

I can relate to all of those. ALL. Oh yea, and I'm in on the drinking game. Alcohol poisoning here I come!

So your problem is that you are too attractive right now. If you lose weight you will be more attractive. Are you trying to be funny? haha

If you're happy with your body fat levels now then I'd definitely start some kind of progressive overload strength routine. (Even if you aren't happy with your bodyfat levels, I'd still start one) I'm a big fan of Stronglifts. Check it out.

Weight can fluctuate. What I watch for in weight is just a trend of losing. Are you weighing things accurately? Tracking everything like condiments and bites here and there? If you are, then just keep doing what you are doing and be patient. I wouldn't assume that you were eating too little. A lot of people on here are…

A reply. We are all witnesses. This day will live on forever.

Give it some time. I was looking at your diary for the month of April and for most days you only tracked one thing for breakfast. But like you said, you've recently been logging very consistently. You've maintained and that's MUCH better than gaining back. Keep up what you're doing and be patient. Your progress pictures…

I weigh myself every morning after I wake up. The kicker is that I don't let one or two pounds sway my mood or how I feel about my diet. If you can't deal with fluctuations (not a bad thing, many can't) possibly try once a week. If possible try to be consistent about the time you weigh. I'm usually about 2-3lbs heavier…

Sounds like you've got your mind made up on doing it. Good luck.

Alan Aragon is the man! I especially like this line: "...they rely on the emotional triggers of zealous testimonials rather than the weight of the scientific evidence." So true.

If I'm doing cardio I'll listen to a podcast. If I'm lifting heavy I like metal.

I'm a fan of abs on girls myself. Not only is it physically attractive (all you that say physical traits don't matter are on your high horse), but it usually shows commitment. You don't accidentally get them.

Look into Stronglifts. It's full of the basic lifts that you need and is easy to follow.

Basic advice for a basic question would be to eat at a deficit if you want to lose weight. It's nothing tricky. Make health and fitness a priority, not an option. You say you're a new mom. Use that little one as motivation to be the best you that you can be.

You tracking your diet obviously makes her self conscious about her own eating habits and she felt the need to make that remark. She probably assumes you only eat salads, fruits, veggies and chicken breasts. My family has this mind set. The other day, I had a donut and they all took it upon themselves to make snide remarks…

This should fix your problem. Also to add, why don't you eat after 7?

There's nothing magic about protein shakes. They don't have a magic ingredient that makes you gain muscle or lose weight instantly. Protein shakes should be used as a tool to meet your protein requirements. Some don't need them, others do. But you don't NEED them.

The diuretic effect is pretty minimal, especially if you are adapted to it. I count pretty much any liquid myself.

Stay out of threads that have "1,200" in the title. Jk.

Hmm. I don't know about the taste of cinnamon water....but I'm definitely going to try it :) thanks op.
