  • I've lost a little more than an automobile tire...wow that's pretty cool when I think of it that way :-)
  • I think you look great but a halter type bikini top would be even better :-)
  • Kraft Crunchy Peanut Butter my favorite and before I started losing weight I couldn't have cared less about PB but now I crave it and always have it on toast before my workout :-)
  • I go to Kickboxing and there is people there that are all shapes and sizes. I have seen a few people when they started out and seeing them now - wow...they have done amazing!! The place I go to it is a very intense workout but they always tell you to go at your own pace...take breaks when needed and so on. When I first…
  • I do...I still eat pizza, wings, sometimes even chinese food. While I make sure the pizza and wings fit into my daily calories the chinese food does not and I tend to retain alot of water but the next day I go right back to logging and staying within my calorie goal and I'm doing great. I don't not allow myself to have…
  • Looking back at old photos is what keeps me motivated to maintain. I never want to go back to the way I was. It makes me very proud of my accomplishments especially the muscles I have in my arms and legs which many people notice and comment on. I love what I see in the mirror now and love getting my pic taken :-)
  • I say no it doesn't matter...you can eat whatever you want as long as it fits. I'm not a huge fan of breakfast and usually just have a large Tim Hortons coffee with double cream and I'm good till lunchtime for lunch my favorite is crunchy peanut butter on whole wheat bread and sometimes I have that everyday when I work. I…
  • Have you tried rubbing Cocoa Butter cream on them or Vitamin E cream?
  • I am 42 and have reached my goal!! I even feel better than I did in my 20's and 30's and look much better too. I do kickboxing and log everything I eat...while it may take a bit longer as we get older - it can be done so don't give up!!
  • Thanks everyone...I don't want to spend the $$ on another new bathing suit cuz I just bought 2 in April but it will be worth it if I feel for confident and it fits properly. I will def try Target...thanks for all of your responses :-)
  • I find myself doing the 1 big meal a day thing on weekends for one I'm usually busy and two I usually have a bigger meal and I want to be able to enjoy it...and it has never slowed me down I was still able to lose weight. I am so glad someone else brought it up cuz I was worried I was the only one doing this. But through…
  • Yes...I have the same problem - I weigh myself every single morning when I wake up - and I can be up or down by a pound or whatever. I am maintaining so the reason I weigh every morning is because I want to make sure I am not losing anymore weight...the gain is okay as it is not by much and most likely water retention but…
  • I do an hour of my kickboxing class from 6 - 7pm two to three times a week and I find that I am full of so much energy afterwards that when I am done my class, I come home, make dinner, do the dishes, etc. I'm always go, go, go but come 10pm I am ready for bed and do sleep really well. I think I would be too wired if I did…
  • Wow...is there a health reason to why you need to eat so few calories? I am 5'6 weigh 126lbs and wear a size 6/7 pants also!!
  • I love brussell sprouts plain but my hubby loves them with white vinagar!!
  • I am 5'6 as well and I weigh 126lbs. I do kickboxing 2 - 3 times a week and have built some muscle (not alot but enough that I am toned and don't look too thin). A few years back I weighed 132lbs and didn't exercise at all and everyone was telling me I was way too skinny. So I think building muscle/toning is the best…
  • I don't think your doctor has long term weight loss in mind and being able to keep it off once you reach your goal. I think your Doctor is thinking more of a very quick weight loss which is crazy cuz it would be impossible to maintain so keep up the good work you are already doing on MFP Cuz personally it is the best…
  • I love this...it made me laugh and makes me want to do just that :-)
  • Thanks everyone for your advice and listening to me rant lol.
  • For me my stomach was the last to go and I am still working on it. It has taken a long time but I am now starting to notice abs :-) I used to think that after having 3 children my stomach would never be the same again but now I think differently!
  • Bump for later...this sounds very interesting so I'm going to check it out :-)
  • So...I sometimes work up a sweat...does that mean I got a good workout? Lol
  • I am 42...lost 20lbs and am now maintaining. Reached my goal just last week :-)
  • I have always found that it is the sodium of all things that makes me look and feel heavier. I can go over my calories, carbs, fat and see no difference in my weight but when I have too much sodium I see a huge difference. Even though it go aways after a few days - that is what I watch the most.
  • Vacation is for enjoying yourself...while some will still try to eat healthy, I on the other hand didn't...I ate everything and drank as much as I wanted. I did gain approx 4 to 5 pounds but when I got home I went right back into my diet and working out and lost the weight in no time. You have done amazing and I know you…
  • I am 5'6 and weigh 128lbs and I will not go under 125lbs. I can't imagine only 95lbs at that height yikes!
  • This...you have to like yourself in order to be liked.
  • I always shop at the outlet Stores in my area there is a Bluenotes Outlet which is my favorite store and nothing in the store is more than $10.00! So I buy jeans for $10.00, shorts for $5.00, tops anywhere from $2.00 to $10.00 and the bonus for me is they have alot more variety in my size now that I lost weight! I went…
  • When things go on sale I stock up...mostly foods that you can put in the freezer. I always have a variety of frozen veggies in the freezer and also buy fresh if the price is right. I only buy chicken if it's on sale and also eat fish which is usually cheap. But I find I can pretty much eat anything as long as I plan for…
  • Oh I have been there several times and now it's muscle:-) But I did learn that proper stretching does help before and after your workout and I did give my calves time to heal...approx 2 days. I think it is a good kind of pain but if it doesn't go away after some rest then I would get it checked out.
