Itchy stretch marks?

My stretch marks itch terribly. Pretty much all the time. Does anyone know if this is a good/bad sign? also should I scratch them or just resist the urge?

    Have you tried rubbing Cocoa Butter cream on them or Vitamin E cream?

    I've never tried cocoa butter or vitamin E creams. I use lotion on them regularly though and that does not help
