I have not step on the scale at all but it is very tempting. I am revamping my workouts and eating schedule to hopefully spark more of a loss.

I really don't think I will see a change this week in my measurements...I have only been able to workout twice :-(

Ok here it goes starting measurements: Neck = 13 in Chest = 33 3/4 in Waist = 33 1/2 in Hips = 39 3/4 in Right thigh = 22 1/2 in Right arm = 10 1/2 in Body fat % = 38.4% *buries head at these numbers*

Usually fruit...bananas and pineapples help me a lot. Although since it is girl scout cookie time I have been bad :-(

I do the eggo low fat nutrigrain waffles with peanut butter, make a sandwich out of it, grab a milk or water, and walk out the door. I'm going to have to try the hot cereal the night before that sounds awesome.

You guys ROCK!!! I have never felt more motivated then I do right now!!! I will take this week to research and make a plan. I guess I just thought if you go out there and run, gradually increase distance you will be fine. But I am learning there is much more that needs to be taken into account! Thanks guys!!!

I have done some 5k's in the past but nothing ever over that. This how now become more of a personal challenge to prove to myself that I can do it. But with all the encouragement I have received from people today my confidence has been elevated significantly!!!

Thank you. I will be sure to look at those sites.I figure 9 months should be plenty of time to slowly increase my distance and speed, which is why I am starting now and not 10 weeks before the race!!

I went natural back in '09 too. And it is great especially for working out! But my roommate who likes the silky straight hair, wraps hers before she works out. She may occasionally have a few puffy spots but it's nothing like what it was before she started wrapping it. If she is really in a hurry she just throws a ponytail…

I'm rebooting!!! I have gained all the weight I lost the first half of the year back within a few months...I need to refocus, regroup, and recharge.

How small? Like if I have an apple and peanut butter is that considered a meal? Or do I need the standard meat, starch, veggie, etc.?

I have the same problem, I am not losing pounds but I feel like I am losing inches. I have a protein shake for breakfast, so is that technically considered "eating"? Should I maybe not have one every day?
