I think you have to find the kind of intentional exercise that you actually enjoy. I do not enjoy running or stair climbers, so I do not do them. Personally as a recovering diet coke addict, I replaced it with water. I've noticed much less bloat and acid reflux, but not a difference in weight loss.

I have been drinking the Cookies and Cream every morning since I discovered it. SO GOOD! My hubby likes the peaches and cream. He had been drinking the banana cream every day, but now he alternates them.

40 pounds in 7 months is pretty aggressive. May I suggest that you look into resistance training? Doing total body lifting, I am seeing my body transform, much faster than I did when I was solely doing zumba and other cardio.
