I didn't know something that I found I love doing would cause so much stink!!! I didn't mean to offend anyone. Whatever the "correct" term is--- I feel Great!! Its better than staying on the couch for the past year with Lyme Disease controlling my body! A little ounce of HOPE goes a long way. Thanks for the + feedback I…

I was obsessed with the scale, but no now. I did lose 1 more pound today, but as long as I stay steady with the inches I'll be a happy camper!

I have 61 more to go myself. I've lost 4 so far with several inches. Feel free to add me!

Its all about teamwork! Feel free to add me. :)

I agree with the resistance. Years ago, I just lost numbers on the scale. But I didn't have any muscle or toning, I guess the skinny fat. This time around I'm addicted to weight training and boxing especially. This journey has showed not only weight but the inches came off quicker than the weight. When my pants and clothes…

Still a little obsessed but getting easier with no second thought. I started Dec. 29. It's turning into a lifestyle, I feel a lot better. My little victories are still victories!!

Yes, mine is the butt, hip and thigh dept too! I lot of mine is heredity, but I'm glad they're getting toned up little by little. There is HOPE!!

That's what I've heard too. Because during my years I always had a small waist and stomach, and my hips were always the issue with weight gain. But its caught me off guard so to speak, I figured with this journey but my waist would have been the easiest!! But hey I'm not complaining I'm GLAD my hips and thighs are leaving…

Its been helping me with High Proteing/Low Carb approach. I followed Atkins years ago with no weight training and pounds came off. But I wasn't firm and toned. I started Atkins induction phase with 20 or below on Dec. 29 to jump start my journey. Now I do 50 carbs and below daily. Because my body changed over to Ketosis…

I started Kenpo Karate October 21 at age 52. I love it so far! I will be testing for Yellow Belt in a couple of weeks. I also like Kickboxing and Strength Training. Feeling so much better mentally and physically.

Hi! I have Hashimotos, Lyme Disease, Menopause, and Celiac. Gluten free is required for Celiacs usually anyway. Hashimotos is hard to deal with for weight loss but NOT impossible. It's slower and more frustrating----DO NOT GIVE UP. Almost 3 weeks for me, I've lost several inches but it took 17 days for the scale to move. I…

Welocome Ashlee!! I would love to hop on board!! I was a member last year for awhile and fell off. Recently diagnosed with Lyme Disease and Hashimotos, Menopause with other issues. I have a lot of things against me, but as of yesterday I finally made some progress in the difficult almost impossible journey. I started at…

Thanks so much for the inspiration!! :D Little things mean the most. I have a lot of fierce medical issues so it makes it a tougher battle, but I will prevail. Have a Great Day

I put my scale away for a few weeks, my inches are definitely coming off first. My sweater today was falling off of me, little things I notice more and more. Plus I'm weight training so my muscles must be getting firmer. I won't give up I'm in it for the long haul. Cheers! Here's to a healthy body!

Make sure your muscles are warmed up. I eat an orange before workout and it helps with soreness.

Thank you both for the advice. Yes, it is too soon. But I do have more energy and the clothes are fitting a little different. I need to stop obsessing over the scale. The past 2 days I have drank 1 gallon of water and it makes a big difference on how I actually feel. Hard to get used to--but I'll do it. Always have to have…

Congrats on your belts! I'm not really doing it for weight loss it was more of a different challenge for me. I love it! I'm starting to add some kickboxing and I want to add weight lifting. I'm at 185 goal of 120 at 5'4". One step at a time. :)

I really need some friends and positive feedback for this long difficult journey! There's power in numbers!!!

It's a shame we can't pick and choose where we need to lose!! The past few days I've been adding some strength training to my routine. I've seen those before and after pics on some stories of the women body buildersthat's an incentive and incredible. Body building adds so much definition and sculpture to the body...

Way to go girl! Keep up the good work!! You're a + role model for all of us!!!!!!

Thanks! I've been eating less daily, exercising, and drinking water all day. I'm on a gluten free and lactose free diet per MD for Celiac. I'm eating more protein, vegetables, and some fruit. Just hoping to get body more proportioned and toned.

Wow! Your walking mileage is amazing! Good for you! I want to get up to 8-10 miles a day... like I said I feel like Forrest Gump I walk walk walk instead of run run run. Keep up the good work! You are a fantastic role model for us walkaholics!!

I had a bad knee injury in 96 with surgery etc. I still have trouble with stairs, squats, and running. I can jog a little bit but not long and far. Walking has helped me a lot. I walk usually 3 miles a day and I feel fantastic. More energy and sleeping better at night. The extra weight on my knees didn't help all these…
