Doctors aren't here to be your friends or provide a shoulder for you to cry on. Sometimes the cold, hard truth hurts, and can be a kick in the *kitten* for people to get their act right and get to where their body needs them to be. Nothing wrong with what the Dr. said IMO

No offense, but how many calories did you expect to be in a salad with fried chicken, cheese, and a creamy dressing? Refusing to go back to their restaurant seems silly.
-
Is diet soda not an option? No sugar no calories
-
Sounds like you are making a bunch of excuses to me.
-
You gotta be kidding me OP. People need to use common sense and exercise self control when you eat. Please don't ruin it for the rest of us who love those heaping spoonfuls at Chiptole.
-
Umm, why is it a bad idea? Seems fine to me....
-
Maybe change your goal?
-
You are an adult, time to grow up and deal with it. Or don't and continue to be fat. By the way, you can still eat that stuff just use self control.
-
44" waist with those stats:huh: I am 6'0 and at my highest was 235, but I never got higher than a 38" waist. You must have an odd figure.
-
It's just the internet, don't get too upset. I wasn't making fun of anything, I laughed at a joke I thought was funny.

Lighten up, Francis

This. OP is acting like a drama queen.

Just learn to control yourself. As a college student, you have a long, hard road ahead of you if you cannot control yourself around food. Eat less, move more, adjust as necessary.
-
Then don't eat there OP, but certainly don't complain about portion portion sizes because you can't control yourself. A restaurant might give us more food than listed, shocker!
-
No doubt. A bottle of vodka over 18 hours is really not that much, it's a tad over a drink an hour.
-
Lol this post hit home. I used to be that way in college and after graduation. Drink a 5th of whiskey before even going out to the bar, which led bad decisions and.......... well now I'm sober two years:laugh: Good luck!

God isn't real
-
I should rephrase. Clean eating is a real thing, but it is certainly not what you suggest. Clean eating is whatever helps you meet your goals to become more fit.
-
Clean eating isn't a real thing, so not sure how it can be a lifestyle
-

Define "healthy" You are really getting sick from eating stuff from a box/jar/can? That must suck to be you. If it's that bad, go buy some ingredients at the store and cook a meal for everyone.
-
Southwest egg rolls Fajitas then bust your *kitten* in the gym for a few days

Just make sure you know how many calories you're netting so you can have an accurate read and adjust as necessary. A lot of people here will tell you not to go under 1200, but it is BS. If it works for you and you aren't starving, go for it.
-
1000 - 1500 is a huge difference for a person of your height and weight. And to answer your question, no it's not common if you are in a deficit.
-
when people talk about "eating clean" There is no... such... thing.,.
-
Sorry not true. Body starts fearing for its life? lol
-
You sound like fun:smokin:
