  • Hey all, I dropped off the radar there for a bit as the few beers crept back in and along with it more pounds! I'm back in action though so I plan to weigh in on weds and log food religiously like I did at the start of june. It's the only thing that works for me as I'm sure with most. Did anyone at all meet the 15lbs…

  • Hey everyone, weather is lovely which is making the lockdown very bearable. Foods are goin good, not too much snacking but my husband keeps bringing home yummy things which I find hard to resist but then when he doesn't I'm giving out under my breath 🤣
  • Well if any of us can do it you can paz, so full of motivation and encouragement, thank you
  • I'm weighing in today rather than tomorrow becuase I was actually down on the scales today and it was the hardest little bit of weight loss I think I have ever lost! So hard, no drinking alcohol and being on lockdown where you can't even go anywhere to distract myself from the boredom and not being able to get to the gym!…

  • I cant get 30 day shred in Europe anymore, does anyone know a link where I can find this? I loved 30 day shred! I used to own the DVD lol off DVD 🤣
  • Fiton is a great app which I use a lot
  • I'm officially 2 weeks of no alcohol today. I have actually gone up a little in weight from snacking but I think that is starting to change a little so I'm very hopeful for a bit of weight loss soon. I'm a little bored not drinking any alcohol but besides that it's been easier to give up than I thought it would be and not…

  • Ah yes grills are my downfall. Force yourself to go for a long walk beforehand and only agree to it if he does the prep while you walk..win/win
  • I know, I never thought it would be difficult to maintain 10,000 steps a day but with this lockdown it is a bit harder to do it..there I said it
  • That is a great idea! I get quite competitive with these types of things. I did one with my husband in our gym and at the end of it the trainer said ah, just let him win! lol! I was like HELL!!!.....N ugh ok
  • Really?! That is cool, thanks, you have put me in a better mood, thanks
  • Hey everyone, had a great day yesterday. I ate really well with very little snacking, I went for a run in the park and I weighed in today and was the same weight as yesterday so I guess it must be true that you shouldn't weigh yourself everyday but it is a good sign if you are the same weight for a couple of days because…
  • Great to have the hubbie on board! I really don't think I could do it if he wasn't on for it but then again I feel very determined at the moment. I have a feeling we are all going to do well in this challenage

  • Today is day 1 off alcohol completely EEeek! We are in our 40's now and think it's time for a lifestyle change. It's slightly harder considering the fact that I can no longer go on my booked holiday to Italy this year. I would be all motivated to get into that bikini but the fact that we can't travel this year has me less…
  • Well done, I believe knee surgery is very painful. Lets do this together, check in every day, I'll do it too ;)
  • Hey everyone, I'm down a pound today but I was bold last night and drank more than I should have so I'll probably be back up tomor  . Alcohol is my biggest problem with my weight. I love a glass of wine or a few whiskeys listening to music with the hubbie when the kids have gone to bed. I intend cutting back on…
  • Yes please, I would like to join. SW: 168.4 CW:168.4 GW:155 I should really put my goal weight in as 150 but I have found in the past I really struggle to maintain 150 but I know if I try I can get to 155 and maintain.
  • Thank you for this comment because I checked this out further and you are right, the marinated tofu is high but I just ate organic tofu not marinated which is low in sodium. Thanks
  • Would you believe Tofu is high in sodium. Just found this out now entering it into my food diary.
  • Yes I agree, I mean if I'm saying 1 cup of veggies then I'm packing that puppy but other people think they are having a cup full of veggies when really they are only having a half a cup because it's not packed. Do you choose dark chicken meat over white for some reason?
  • Thank you for your replies. I have been doing the walk now for a few months and I am adjusting so not as tired. I agree about the muscle use so I am doing spin class now to make up for that loss. This is such a great site for advice and encouragement, thank you. Loving the fact that I'm burning so many cals with the walk,…
  • I didn't eat my excercise calories yesterday by a good bit and when I woke up today I was wrecked with tiredness almost felt like fatigue. Ate my porridge, went to spin, then halfway through spin I felt starving! Thanks for the tip on half. I'll try that as I am trying to lose a few pounds at the minute. Just a few though…
  • I started a lifting program with a trainer at my gym and he has me lifting as heavy as I can but I have put up 5 pounds over the 6 sessions and I know it's not fat but I doubt its all muscle. Does putting on weight scare any of you ladies that are lifting or starting to lift? Maybe I shouldn't even bother weighing myself…
