  • You're not a failure - you're here aren't you?! That's half the battle. :) I also peaked at your diary and noticed that there wasn't any exercise tracked - at least for the days i looked at. Are you eating your exercise calories back? If not you could be hitting too low of an overall calorie intake.

  • Thanks guys this is very helpful! What about weekends though? I find those are the hardest because there so un-predictable. Weekdays are usually ok for me because i'm at my desk and it's easy to plan meals because everything is so scheduled.

  • I'm 5'6" too and currently weight 160 - sigh. my goal right now is to get to 145 and see how I feel. I have a pear shape too and everything is stuck below my waist! lol. What's everyone else doing to get the weight off? I'm been trying to boost cardio, and strength train and do ballet once a week.
  • It only took me a week for my body to adjust but it also adjusted very quickly to too low cals and i stopped losing after just two weeks. I gained .6 last week and this week i'm down 1.6 in one week! I had upped my calls to 1500 + eating back exercise cals. Basically I never net lower than 1500. I'm 5'6" and 160 right now.

  • No, no and No! These over the counter pills are NOT regulated in Canada and can have any number of questionable ingredients in them! There's no magic pill for weight loss.... sorry :(
