I also need to lose 100plus, it is very hard with my depression anxiety ocd and sleep problems because my energy levels motivation etc all get affected. I am not really into fad diets but I have ordered myself some chocolate protein shake powder today to replace one or 2 meals daily I hope it works out

I know you said you're not a big meat eater but chicken and tuna are also good for protein, you could try doing a salad or veggies or pasta with it or something

Milk and eggs are good, you could buy some protein powder and mix a bit with normal milkshake flavour to try mask the taste

Have you tried cooking up some stir fry veggies? Its my go to easy meal, I buy a sachet of chow mein sauce or black bean sauce etc which range from 50-80 cal per half sachet, spray the pan with light cooking spray 1 cal per spray and fry the stir fry veggies up and add the sauce and usually add chopped chicken breast to…

Yeah I've been eating chicken breast for the past 3 days with stir fry vegetables, but today o just couldn't eat anymore of it lol, I'm going to try include tuna and eggs and stuff in my diet until I find a good protein powder that doesn't cost too much

I've been searching for flavoured ones but can't seem to find any sold in the UK, I might just buy the unflavoured one and give it a go :) I'm getting bored of eating the same food for protein and cant really afford to keep buying meat, so powder seems like a pretty good idea :D

I started out 316lbs (May 2014) and have lost 29lbs so far with no assistance from a doctor or anything. At the end of the day I'm the one who's allowed myself to get overweight therefore I should be the one to lose it with no gastric band.

Nice how are the shakes? I've never tried a shake diet :) right now I'm watching calories and cutting portion size. I fill up on water and swap the unhealthy things for fruits and veg :)

Once you start losing weight you will feel better, be healthier, more confident and more motivated :D

I am 302 lbs I suffer with chronic anxiety, depression and insomnia. I know its so hard to get the motivation to do things. You burn calories at rest. Try taking 1000 or 2000 cals off first and drink plenty of water. I lost 14 lbs with basically no exercise apart from some mild arm exercises
