day 1 of 30DS I have been going through a nesting stage and have a long list of cleaning to accomplish. The state of my house reflects the level of my motivation. Time to clean house and enjoy a positive attitude:smile:

Day one complete. Sister called at part way through so I went through it from start to finish after I talked to sis.

Wow! you are killing it with the steps Smirnoff. I am pleased that my daily activities are about 9000 average. To get more than that I have to hit the tread mill. I should change my mindset to get on the treadmill so that I can wear it out and then send it down river to the dump. I hate to get rid of items that aren't used…

last three days I have had over 9k steps just in activity of daily living. weather is too hot for any extra activity.

I have a FitBit flex, I do wish that it had more features. It doesn't count stairs though the fitbit one does. There is no heart rate monitor. Since I wear it on my wrist and enjoy the alarm functions so I don't need an alarm clock. I think it should also include a watch.

Today I ran on treadmill for 3 min then walked for 8 more min. I am going to take a break from the electronic life for a few days and will only log food and an occasional post. I WILL continue to walk/run while on break. See you all at weigh in on Sunday.

Took a cool walk in the woods and saw 3 bull elk trying to stay out of my view. They were trying to sneak because their antlers are still in velvet. One will be a spike but the other two elk will be branch bulls. Such a magnificent sight, so large trying to sneak through timber and brush.

Heather I agree with changing your goal. I sometimes bump my calorie intake to let my body know it is ok to burn the fat. I find that if calories are too restricted I start to reduce metabolism.

I cleaned around my treadmill and have walked on it for 10 min. So many of you have awesome routines I feel like my few minutes are very inadequate. Perhaps someone else is shy about the tiny workout that they do. If you are just starting to begin a workout send me a friend request and we can build up our workouts.:happy:
