My Dad has Huntington's, and also has difficulty swallowing. His swallowing issues are a little bit different from yoru FIL's, though. Cheese & peanut butter have some protein and lots of calories. Dad has cheese on Triscuits every afternoon -- don't know whether that's too crunchy. Eggs scrambled with cheese should be…

Livefit should be done on its own. It includes cardio in the 5th-12th weeks. The workouts take up to 1 1/2 hours on their own. Adding more on top of that would probably be a recipe for disaster.

I'm here, wassup?

I think I am ready to try one of these again, Kristen, if you still have space.

Your should be struggling, OP. Good heart and personality?? pffft. Hair down to the middle of your back is far more important. So suck it up and just let her go, then go drown your baldness at the local bar. There's nothing you can do about it.

Oh thank you, I have those books so I will look there!

I would find a good butcher. I don't know where you live, but around here if I go outside of the big city, I can find a butcher who is using local meat to make their own bacon, sausage, etc. I can specify my needs and they'll do what I ask. You can ask what kind of fillers are in their sausage, you can ask for a less-salty…

If you look at my pictures you will see several of Daisy. She's a 4 pound Yorkie who goes almost everywhere with me/us. She rides in her carrier on the back of one of our motorcycles and she loves bikers, rallies, camping, and generally being anywhere that we are. We also have a golden retriever but I don't have any…

Still good on logging. Was bad on meeting calorie goals though. Did better yesterday and fully intend to do better today.
-
Awesomesauce!

Thanks JudyKat, I'm glad you don't think I'm crazy! I had a 'bad' day yesterday but I logged it all and my calories were at maintenance levels. When I don't eat as I planned, I always catastrophize it into thousands of calories. When I log it, I see that it really isn't that bad. If you want to go to Sturgis, next year…

OK, I went camping over the weekend and haven't checked in, but here is where I am at: 1. 13 days in a row of logging every morsel Booyah! 2. Down 58 pounds since my all-time high weight 3. Leaving for Sturgis in 5 days 4. Happy as a clam! Last week I definitely had a downward movement on my scale but since last Friday…

All right, great job Michele. I think the wedding-as-motivator is a great idea. I wanted to look better for Sturgis and here I've lost almost 60 pounds for it. I can't wear *anything* that I want, but I'll be rocking corsets, see through lace, and deerskin which is a far cry from where I was 60 pounds ago.
-
Good job on the logging -- how many days is your streak now?
-
I'm up to 8 days of logging. I went over my goals for calories and fat yesterday, but still in a deficit. I also ended my counseling. So now I'm flying on my own -- I feel ready for this!
-
Awesome! Yeah, they're a mutha!!
-
My biggest fear is failing to make it to my goal. After I get there, I'll tell you if any new fears come up.
-
Yeah, let's bring it!!
-
 yeah, some jumping jacks'll take care of that! You're doing great logging. The first step is getting honest about what's going on, and you're doing it.
-
Thank you both! I logged everything yesterday --we went to a BBQ so I had to guesstimate but I did it -- and I've now logged all of today, too. I'm a touch over today and was a couple of touches over yesterday, but definitely in a deficit.
-
That's awesome Judykat!
-
 thanks guys! I did log everything yesterday and hit my goals.
