  • ^^^ This is basically how I've survived over the last year LOL. I could never totally cut sugar and desserts out of my life completely, that's no way to live if you ask me. One thing I will key in on though is that for me it's ONLY at night. If I have candy or something sweet like that earlier in the day more often than…
  • Totally understand what you're feeling. I've been so focused and trained to not go over that 'magical' number with my daily eating that now that it's higher I start to panic. Plus my weight seems to fluctuate dramatically so I'm doing what was suggested and figuring out my 'range'. I'm also forcing myself to not look at…
  • When I cook something, I make extra - usually 3 meals worth. 1 for right then, 1for the next day - or eat it a couple days after the original day if you don't like the same thing too close together and 1 put in a container and into the freezer for a quick grab frozen meal. I also do the bag of salads. After you open it,…
  • Not missing out on family things was one of the big things that pushed me back into losing weight (I had lost some weight before and gained a lot of it back). About 1 1/2 years ago my oldest (3 at the time) wanted me to go on a ride with him and I wouldn't. I was worried that I wouldn't fit so I talked him into going with…
  • I work from home a lot with my kids. Hard not to snack when literally the kitchen in RIGHT THERE  A couple things I do to stay away is always having healthy snacks like veggies already cut up and ready to grab. Anything that my husband or the boys like that is tempting to me goes in the back of the pantry out of my…
  • I'm near the end of the loss part of my journey but am finding it difficult to maintain and keep it off (lost approx. 95 this time around). I have to little boys 4 & 2, formally working strictly from home but now am back in the office part of the time. Feel free to add me if you would like!
  • Kickboxing! Sometimes you just need to get that aggression out LOL Hope your day gets better!
  • For me it is a never ending journey, I will always need to be mindful of what I'm eating especially since I battle with being an emotional / stress eater. I'm always running between my family (I have 2 young boys) and my job (which is crazy) so I can relate. Meal & snack prep has been key for me. I always keep healthy…
  • Yep! Anxiety / stress comfort eating is one of my biggest challenges. Feel free to add me :)
  • I've been doing the same thing and still logging, still tracking. I've lost almost 100 previously, gained a big chunk back before so now that I've lost the rest I needed to and am more working on maintaining I'm terrified of gaining it back. People have commented that I'm obsessed and need to 'let go' but people need to…
  • Sincerely a big thank you all for your support, tips and reassurance that I'm not alone and crazy about how I was feeling. I truly appreciate it!
  • Thank you, for the quote I had never really thought of it that way... Very valid way to think about it.
  • Thanks I appreciate the tips!
  • Not that I'm happy that others are finding it difficult too, but I feel better that I'm not the other person having this issue. I was feeling like I was broken or lost my mind or something. I hope it gets easier for both of us :)
  • Congrats on your success! Request sent :)
  • I'm in the home stretch of my journey. My all time highest was 274 and had lost about 100 then put about half back on. Regrouped and now I'm down 96lbs lost, putting me at 148. There have been a LOT of ups and downs along the way. I've found it very helpful to align myself with people who understand the struggles. I'll…
  • Hi! I'm 37, mother of 2 young and very active boys. Struggled with my weight my whole life and had finally reached my goal weight in the spring only to gain 10-15 back over the summer. Working towards re-losing it and then maintaining. I'm very much a binge / emotional eater and I'm fighting hard to learn to control it.…
  • I agree with finding something you enjoy. If you are doing something you don't like, you're not going to stick with it very long. Also, try to switch it up a bit too. If your walking / running outside, take different routes. If your doing videos, have a few in rotation. Same thing with the gym, use a variety of machines…
  • Thank you, I appreciate the feed back and suggestions! I was really not expecting maintaining to be so frustrating and difficult. Definitely took me by surprise.
  • Might sound counter productive but I allow my extra workout calories (usually only half) to be "dessert" or "non healthy snack" calories. If I don't have bonus exercise calories, I don't have anything that day. I love my sweets so that generally motivates me get my workout in B)
  • Add in an autoimmune disease into your description and I could have written it myself  I too am learning to fight against and manage my binge eating. At my heaviest I was 274 on a 5'2 frame and was up and down for the last 10 years. At one point I lost about 100 lbs and then ended up finding my way back to 244. That…
  • I've been fighting to get my binge eating and anxiety under control too, it's always there and but have been slowing learning to manage and am getting better at it - slowly. Logging is key for me, the visual of what I am doing help me curb it sometimes. Also breaking the cycle by when I'm feeling like I'm about to lose…
  • Very interested too!
  • It's soooo easy to fall back into bad food habits. I had lost a lot (approx 100) and then life happened and I wasn't paying attention, and back on a lot of it came. Now I had reached my goal weight and kind of mentally freaked out, self sabotaging, binge eating and completely lost the motivation. Keep gaining and losing…
  • I've always been a stress and emotional eater. It's a constant struggle and always will be for me I'm sure. The key things for me have been finding stress relief in physical activity, even if it's just putting the boys (I have 2 young boys) in the wagon and going for a walk around the block when I feel my breaking point…
  • Hi, Had about 100 to lose, working on my last 20 or so. I'm on here daily, feel free to add me :)
  • I have to go on prednisone in cycles when I have a bad Lupus flare up. Hate that stuff. Lots of water to help flush your system :-)
  • Amazing job! I'm down about 80 myself, working on the last 25. I'm on here daily, ill add you!
  • I'm working on my last 25 or so. Feel free to add me!
  • Hi! I'll send you a request. I started with over 100 to lose, I'm currently down about 70 ☺
