You may be overthinking this. If you go by the goal that MFP sets for you (the 1400 or whatever), and eat back some of your exercise calories you should lose. What is your goal weight? Also, if you are gaining weight but still eating less than 1200 calories and exercising alot, it could be that you aren't eating enough.

Also, now that I am doing better financially, I still take my mom out, have her over for dinner, etc etc, because I'm thankful that she has helped me in the past---I can't believe that your mother would act that way towards other people who have helped her in the past and just keep moving on to the next person!

I've been doing MFP for two weeks and have lost 6 lbs, but just started working out this week (only 2 days so far). I guess I'll see how that affects my weigh in next week! I hope not negatively!

I can't run yet....I did a cardio program (walking) on the treadmill for 25 mins, didn't really notice the mileage but it said 280 cals. Then I did a bike for 8 mins, 3 miles. That said I only burned 60 on the bike. I guess if I really burned more great, but I kind of want to know where I really stand!
