Castillo2712, remember the reasons you set the weight loss goal in the first place. Is it for better mobility? To reduce or eliminate medication? For a better self image? All of the above? Whatever your reasons, let those reasons be your motivation to get the weight off ESPECIALLY on the days you feel like binge eating…

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing such adversity from your own family on your exercise regimen but you are increasing your chances for a longer and healthier life by staying fit. I wish I had a fraction of your drive and motivation to exercise; I don't but I'm not going to begrudge anyone that does. Just do what feels…

Hello, I too am an emotional binge eater. :ohwell: I crave sweets--mostly chocolate chip cookies, ice cream and occasionally Hot Tamales or Mike & Ike's--and when I start eating them I can't ... no, WON'T ... stop until I've satisfied my craving, not my calorie count. If I get out of the store without buying sweets I'm…

Congratulations to you ... that is an AWESOME accomplishment and you look great too!

I like Chonani's blueberry and pineapple and Dannon Oikos black cherry. I haven't tried any other brands but I enjoy those brand and flavor combinations. Yummy!

My issue is regulating sugar--both natural and artificial--and sodium.

I'm 54 and am looking for some support. I was doing okay (lost 11 pounds) and put back on 9 of them and I can feel every one of them. Food is my vise and I have a lot of stress in my life so I tend to binge then get overeaters remorse--don't worry I don't purge, but there lies the problem. So, I'm back almost up to my…

I'd like to participate in the challenge. I can't seem to do the 'weight-loss' thing being accountable only to myself. :\

@shoppingmania86, Snooki Interesting ... I don't think I've ever been told I resemble Condi Rice.

Yes, I've accepted friend requests with no message and I have sent friend requests (in response to a post on the forum) with no message if someone is looking for friends to support them in their journey, The friends I had when I first started MFP have all pretty much disappeared. I have only a few friends but I need the…

I have only lost 8 pounds but ... - I lug around 8 fewer pounds than when I started. - I can walk a little faster because I feel a little lighter. - My inner thighs don't rub together as much. - I can wear my white Talbots walking shorts that I couldn't button last summer.

Thank you so much for these awesome suggestions. They make a lot of sense. Marilyn -- The one who was stuck at 198 pounds, but NO MORE!

First and foremost, I want to feel attractive and sexy again. Secondly, I want to be healthy and feel energetic and pain-free again.

Thanks for your input NC. Will look into the classes. I'm paying for a YMCA membership, I may as well use it. :)

Thanks everyone for your input.

I lost about 10 pounds and have been stuck at my current weight for months now. I'm not sure how to get past this point. :^\

I have a membership at the YMCA and have never used the pool because I have a fear of water so I'm not sure that is a viable solution for me. It's too bad because it sounds as if lap swimming is a great calorie-burner and a good way to tone up! Maybe it's time for more lessons so I can overcome my fear of the water. :^\

Hi, I'm 5'-8" tall. My starting weight was 208; I am now hovering between 198-200 lbs. My ideal goal weight is 135 lbs, but this is to be reached in stages over the next 13 months. My first goal is to be 175 lbs. by Sep 2012, and I can't seem to get lower than 198 lbs. Ugh! The next goal is to reach 150 lbs by Mar 2013 and…

I'm another Chipotle fan; I just had my usual for dinner: salad (no dressing) with brown rice, black beans, veggies, chicken, mild salsa, green chiles and cheese with lime juice for dressing. It's scrumptious and about 600 calories, around 450 without the rice. I often get two meals out of one bowl but today I was starving…

Wow, what a significant difference. I wish you a complete and speedy recovery. As far as the incision goes--I've healed from similar incisions twice, when each of my two children was born. I had both by Cesarean Section. Take care.

I log my good days and not-so-good days (and there are, unfortunately, quite a few) and I make my diary viewable to friends. I also log as I go and sometimes I will check ahead to see the nutrition information for something I'm considering eating and knowing it up front helps me make an informed decision as to whether I…

I would love to be wanted, instead of needed, for a change. *sigh!*

Thank you so much for sharing all this useful information.

Pectorals, then biceps then gluteals. Yummy! I'm drooling and thinking about Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and David "The Animal" Batista as I write this. Ex-wrestling fan. =^D

The Grace Card was a very good movie. I also enjoyed Soul Surfer, although I cried 4 times while watching it. The last movies I watched: Theater: The Lorax DVD: Star Trek TV: 12 Rounds (on now)
