Hi! I just started the keto WOE today. If anyone would like to be mfp keto friends, please send a request! I have about 120 pounds I would love to lose! Ugh!

Hello! I have been studying the keto diet for a little over a month and feel that I finally understand macros! I prepped this weekend to start my keto lifestyle today! I would love to join this group - it's perfect timing! -My goals are to be strictly keto for the remainder of September (although there may be a slip up…

Hi @hezrene! I am a serial quitter as well! I actually have been doing lots of research on the keto plan and began today. I attempted an elimination diet once before (aip) because of health issues and was able to lose 25 pounds in a month with no exercise. As soon as I began to eat the standard diet, it all came back. Keto…

Hi! I am so glad to see some activity in a forum regarding HS. I understand, all too well, how flares can prevent you from exercising, let alone walking, standing, sitting! I joined a gym in June and go at least 5 times a week. There have been times that I missed several weeks because of a flare. There is a closed support…

Hi - I have hypothyroidism, also. In July my TSH was 7 and I had a test in February because I have been having dizzy spells, so they ran a bunch of bloodwork, and determined that my TSH was 5. They upped my synthetic synthroid to 75mcg from 50mcg. Some of what I consider to be my hypo symptoms are: dry skin, small, itchy…

This is exactly what I am looking for! I have tried MFP in the past, but I never seem to stick with it. It's not MFP that's a problem, it's me: having no motivation to do anything! Whether it's eating healthy, working out or something as simple as entering my food on MFP. It's gotten a bit out of hand - I gained a LOT of…

Hi, I am Desirae and I have been diagnosed with HS for about 10 years, and suffered with it silently for several years prior. I love that there are support groups for this. It really helps to lift me up when I feel like I am gross, or the only one that has it. Like all things, there are good days and bad days. There is a…

This is awesome! It just goes to show that when given the chance, the body can heal itself :) I had asthma all my life, but it has been dormant for awhile. This year I was diagnosed with having allergies, although nothing specific but the doc assumes its pollen-related, and I have noticed myself wheezing when I am outside…

I will turn 30 in Feb!!! Feel free to add me ;)

Age: 29 Height: 5'9 SW: 264 Goal: 180 (to start!) Trying to stay at 1800 calories consumed a day. I am currently doing strength training/weight lifting because to do any cardio, I have to go in my garage and its too cold for that right now! I burn about 200 calories by using our Bowflex - planning on doing it 5 days a…

Only did 93 and I had to take breaks in between. I had lots of pain in my lower back, as well....perhaps I wasn't doing them correctly?

Sending request now! I have been a MFP member for awhile but have only recently started to be a bit more consistent in adding my food and participating in the community. I am 5'9 started at 262. My first goal is to do a real push up by my bday in Feb and I would like to get around 180-185...and to be and feel stronger!!

That is awesome! I can't wait!! It's such a great move - I want to be able to do it properly!

I wasn't able to do the "girl" push ups since I had my daughter last November. Happy to say I can do about 12 in a row now. However - I always feel awkward when I try to do real ones...then I believe if I feel awkward, I must be doing them wrong. I can't remember the last time I did real push ups. My goal is to be able to…
