  • You got this! 😁
  • Hi, I believe support is important and I also had some major injuries that really set me back. We can do this. I restarted myfitnesspal after a few years of not doing it. It worked before so I'm hoping itll work again. Good luck! Add me if you want a friend to keep pushing through the pain.
  • I still play video games :D Just not as often. I love that you dance. I do Japanese Para Para, Belly Dancing, and some other basic dances like waltz. Also, love your number 5 :D Thats some serious dedication and its awesome!
  • In the Navy, we were called Master-At-Arms or MA for short. (Similar to MP) Shore Patrol was a position for overseas, but we were still considered MAs. :) Oh locals love us too lol When I was in KW they used to drop off military members at our gates and go "Here, you take them. We don't want to deal with this." lol
  • That's really incredible! Great job!
  • I'm returning to MFP too. You're very funny and seems like you would be great motivation. I hope you don't mind me adding you and great job *applause* for reaching your milestone again! Also, I should inform you that I started giggling hard at work when I read you description of 50 first dates :) Anyways, I'm adding :)…
  • Well it's all blacks today. I don't even think I own....wait wait i do own one pink shirt..... otherwise I need to add more color into my life lol Oh well, I'll go sit with the rest of the nerds.
  • You want to know a secret? It's okay to fall off. We're human and that happens. There's no reason to feel bad about it. I'm sure everyone has fallen off at some point. The great thing is that you're back on and trying again. :) It's only a failure if you give up completely.
  • Same boat :) I was prior Navy then got injured and gained weight to about 185 then dropped down to 155 then got pregnant and gained it all back lol. So here I am at 175 and trying to lose it back to 145 if possible :) Good Luck with the weight lose and hope we can help each other. :) Feel free to add me anytime and we can…
  • Success: I lost about 25lbs using MFP last time (Before I got pregnant) Now I've already lost 10lbs. Don't give up :) It may take some time to reach your goals, but it'll be worth it. I'll gladly give support and be friends through if :) feel free to add me anytime
  • Hi purple! Kudos to you for doing 1200 but I couldn't do that lol I had to go higher to 1600 because I wasn't getting enough energy and then working out. I try working out early in the morning before my girls wake up for school and daycare. Its a little me time I guess :drinker: Anyways, I hope we can motivate each other…
  • a lot of foods like that require a weight input. You should get a small weight so you know how many grams and ozs things are.that will make it much easier to record them :)
  • 1: I was a police officer in the Navy 2: I love Cosplaying and run my own group 3: Criminal Minds is my favorite show closely followed by House 4: I met my husband while shooting him in Laser Tag 5: I favorite phrase is, "Reach for the moon, this way even if you fall short, you'll still be within the stars"
  • But those cookies and pies are sooooo tasty :) feel free to add me. I'm aiming for around 40lbs lost so we can help each other.
  • I'm all up for supporting and making friends through MFP. Its always better to cheer each other and motivate through rough times.
  • Write down in marker on the back of your hand why you are on your diet (your motivation) that was the only way I did it. Every time I wanted to splurge and eat what i used to, I would see the message and go, no I can't and I need to do this for....whatever your reason. It seems weird but it worked for me, :)
  • Hi Brittany, I'm Brittanie! Lets help each other get to our goals :) Im all up for supporting and making friends! Its extremely hard to do this alone. Feel free to add me
  • :) Let's help each other get to our goals :) I'm still trying to get 30lbs off by Jan 1.
  • I don't know. I mean, I was in the military and many of us had tattoos (some with sleeves and neck tattoos) and they were police officers that stood by my side. I have quite a few tattoo and now I'm an Insurance agent dealing with people and helping them and make a salary of 30,000 yearly plus commissions. It's not whats…
  • Yay all the way! Actually, my husband has none :( He's a big wimp sometimes lol but most of my back is covered and I plan to add more when I get some free money. I designed most of mine so I haven't decided what the ones for my children will be yet.
  • I actually have a spinal injury from the Navy and shoulder injury so I can't do many normal exercises but I've come to find out that the Wii Fit Pro is amazing and doesn't push my injuries but i still burn calories. :)
  • Yea she said what I was going to say. I have a 2 month right now and a 4 yr old with an ear infection. When he can balance out running between kids, getting dinner ready, and also trying to feel better yourself without getting any real sleep, then he can say something. :noway: Anyways hope you feel better :flowerforyou:
  • If Gryffindor or Hufflepuff is still open I would gladly join :)
  • Hi Mag :) I went through depression for about ten years and still sometimes fall back into it suddenly. I wanted to be positive and healthy for my family and seeing how I let my depression get the better of me over those years, I felt terrible to what I had done. Next, It's our imperfections that make us prefect and its…
  • Eat more times a day and not huge meals. Also, lower your goals at first then once your body has adjusted to it, you can raise them back up. I had to lower my goals to 1lb a week but lost 10lbs in two weeks. Don't forget to change your drinking habit too. If you drink soda, drink diet. Water is the best method though. The…
  • What he said, but i wanted to add some other things. When I was in the NAVY people got shin splints bad so make sure you are wearing good shoes, not also running on pavement, sidewalk, or whatever like he said, and also make sure your back isn't getting any strain. I thought I had shin splints but I actually pushed my body…
  • Hey Mark! I had the same problem. Its so much easier to lose weight when you have a limit on calories and can read it on packages then to remember points and other systems. I try to work out as well 5 times a week (two days to rest muscles). Hope you reach your weight goal. Oh and also, stick with this program. At first i…
