Restaurants with no nutritional information available on the website are on my no list because I hate playing guessing games with my intake, otherwise I eat what I like in moderation.

I missed this thread for the first few days and also didn't exercise on the 14th-16th (although I did clean intensely for 4 hours on the 14th), but I've walked yesterday for 45 minutes and today for 56 minutes, so I'm on track to hit all 4 days of the challenge this week! :)

I've been keeping myself motivated by staying active on MFP, scrolling through my newsfeed, reading & posting in the forums, etc. and I started a tumblr (fitblr) blog so that I can scroll through all the motivating fitness blogs whenever I feel like I need a boost. I also started sharing something every day to keep me…

I have been half-assed trying to lose weight since the day I started gaining it a few years ago. Cut a calorie or two here, attempt some workout DVD for a few days at a time, nothing ever sticking because I wasn't really trying hard enough and I was just content with not caring. Until the day I moved from my apartment to…

I'm a big girl and I've been losing at a rate of 1 pound per day (starting weight July 31st of 336.2, weight on 8/17 was 318.4) doing no more than 40-60 minutes of walking and eating between 1500-2000 calories per day. The bigger you are, the easier it is to drop weight fast with minimal effort. The closer you are to goal,…

Great job, you look great! :)

I'm terrible at pre-logging food because for some reason I always end up feeling like I'm hungry, but this might help. Thanks!

Congrats on your 1315th day and your weight loss! Friend request sent. :)

You probably need to up your intake. It sounds counter-productive, but when you plateau there's usually an easy fix. :)

I recommend the lifestyle change diet where you get to eat whatever you want (in moderation) as long as it fits in your day! It's sometimes slow going, but it doesn't cost anything more than your daily groceries and you don't ever have to go off the 'diet' and put all the weight back on!

It's possible, but it's not at all sustainable.

25 out of the past 30 days you ate under 1000 calories a day and you seriously wonder why you're hungry? My 4-year old eats more than that.

I like this post. Today is a rest day and believe me, I went all in on my rest. I may nap later and possibly clear my DVR a bit. :)

That's it, I'm taking my toilet back. It's clearly not doing what it's designed to do. Edit: Anorexia is not funny, I get it. Don't anyone freak out.

I have trouble with eating a bunch of small meals and end up overeating by a lot or munching on more than I meant to. I have the most success when I eat 2 larger meals and a snack here and there.

I like to weigh in daily to see the fluctuations, it's pretty neat to me.

I believe the majority of the weight I've lost so far (14 pounds in the last 14 days) has been water weight, too. It can happen pretty fast at first, but it does slow down after that. I'm considering mine a nice "kickstart" because it lets me feel successful in seeing progress almost immediately, even though I know the…

Best advice ever and even though I'm not new to this, I'll definitely be taking it to heart. Thanks! :)

Periods are a neat way of flushing your system of bacteria, shedding your uterine lining and eliminating excess iron, so your doctor recommendation might not be entirely related to ED recovery. Definitely talk with your doctor about it though as only they know why they said what they did.

...taking the time to make my own healthy dinner when my boyfriend is opening the door to the pizza delivery guy.

Female, 5'10" and my calorie goal is set at 2180 right now. My days usually vary from 1400-2200 though, it depends on how hungry I am or how hard I worked out that day.

I like to enter things manually to ensure accuracy, but it'd be a neat gadget (as a gift, I'm also cheap and my $15 scale suits me just fine) to further clutter my counter space.

Lane Bryant, Torrid and Maurices are where I shop most often and I get most of my workout clothes (shorts and capris) from Target.

I think these are all great ideas and I'd definitely participate as much as possible!

A quick google search says 151-189 pounds for your height. Sounds like a pretty decent goal to me.

Take your disgusted with yourself attitude and use it to your advantage. Use it to push yourself to exercise and eat right and as things start to change, your outlook probably will, too. I know mine has a lot. If you're too embarrassed to let anyone see you trying to get fit, then don't. Workout at home, youtube some…

imgur.com is probably the easiest way! Just go to the site, upload the pics, then click the BBcode image link button to copy them, then paste here. When you post them here though you have to change where it says [IMG]to lowercase or it won't show up. :)[/img]

As a kid, the blame fell on my dad, but it's not blame to me, exactly, I just don't have another word for it. My mom died from anorexia/bulimia when I was a year old and as a result I think that really scared him and he openly admits that he fed me all the time, way too much from a very young age. I'm 28 now though and my…

I just came to this conclusion about myself the other day. When I get up, eat a wonderful and healthy meal and then go about my day, I find that I'm so hungry an hour or two later that I can't think about anything other than eating again. It goes on like that all day long. If I just skip breakfast, I don't feel like that…

I'm another daily weigher. I find that I'm less discouraged by fluctuation this way and it helps keep me in check. Plus I really like seeing how things affect my weight, what makes me hold more water, etc.
