  • Yay!!! I can't tell you enough how helpful your challenge has been (although last week was a bust). I'm in to lose 10.

  • By the way, I'm so excited about my family's new "minivan!" The Yuba Mundo (www.yubaride.com), I'm going to add another bike seat to fit both my wee ones and away we go! I'm towing my old bike in this photo since that was how I got to the bike shop  I can't seem to get the photos to work but if you're curious, our…
  • I thought I just posted it but I don't see it, I'll try again! Sorry I'm late again. I am interested in being in the next challenge, however! 10 more lbs and I'm at my goal so I think I'll shoot for that. This challenge really helped me start losing again. I was stuck in the 150s for so long! Name/ real name: EKSB/Elle…
  • I thought it had to be done all at once! I'm up to 120 this month and I'll set a goal for 300. We've just started going car-freer and it's pretty amazing how those errands start to add up. If you're curious, I'm tracking our progress and journey here: www.tinyhelmetsbigbikes.com. We're starting to plan some longer trips…

  • I have noticed that I am stronger and faster while pulling the trailer (it's about 90+ lbs extra!). I was stuck at the same weight for awhile but since I changed my routine, I've gone down a couple more pounds. I can't quite eat "everything" yet...
  • Thanks for all the hard work, Kristen. It's very sweet of you to take the time to reply to everyone. Feel better!
  • This challenge has been fantastic! Thank you, Kristen! I had been bouncing between 155-150 for about 6 months and have finally broken through to the 140s. I haven't seen them my entire adult life. One change we're doing as a family is leaving the car at home for little errands and going by bike instead. It's been really…
  • Ouch! I'll try it one more time...:flowerforyou:
  • I'm 5'6", 145lbs after losing 35, and still looking to lose another 5-10. I have my calories set at 1740 for maintenance (as if I were sedentary, which I am often not but it's hard to track running after children and carrying a 20+ pound baby). I then add 300 more calories for nursing, eat all my exercise calories, go over…

  • Never! Seriously. Biking is great! Get a strong, comfortable bike that fits you. If you don't, you'll hate it and never use it. Don't forget a helmet. No spandex needed. Great for low impact workout. Start by just going around your neighborhood or do some local errands. Does your city have a bike trail/route? Go for it!…

  • One thing that jumps out from your diary is your sodium levels are through the roof! Try to cut back on sodium-filled foods and drink lots of water and see if that helps any.

  • Bumping so I can find you guys on Monday. Finally broke my plateau and jumped down to 147.8, lowest I've been EVER (that I can remember)! Hope it stays down after my conference this weekend. Hope I have time to use the gym at the hotel...
  • Your BMI is underweight and you're still working on losing more. Take a step back and reevaluate, Maybe eat at maintenance and see what happens, Go to the Dr, or a local clinic if the card takes too long.

  • I did the same thing and ran 4 miles the first time out and couldn't run or move for another couple of days because of knee pain. It was really frustrating that the rest of me could finally run except for my silly little (terrible) knee pain. I went to the chiropractor who helped bring my back into alignment which was…

  • Healthier for you and the environment! Not to mention your wallet, saving a little gas money here and there always helps. Don't seen any downside to it other than possibly having to find another doctor.
