Slow and steady wins the race... haha. I was down to 194 earlier this week but as I said, I have certainly discovered everything in moderation is key! Also, never realized how many calories were in alcohol until MFP! What a wake-up call! For someone that rarely drinks, that will be more motivation to continue to be the DD. :laugh:

Happy Family day to everyone (Canadians at least not sure if Americans have that day too) I got a little carried away last week. I thought I would have one cheat day and up my calories to shock my body because, I lowered my calories the week before but 1 cheat day turned into 2 which turned into 3 and now i'm paying for it. Hope everyone has a great day and congrats to the losers.

mrsgstone - Cheat day... If I eat whatever I want (Translate that to mean pig, Pig, PIGGY!) for an entire day, it can take me over a week to just get back to where I was. So a whole day doesn't work for me either. One meal, once in awhile, definitely works better for me.
julidav - You are doing fantastic with your weight loss! Even better knowing all that you have going on. :-( Are you doing the high protein/low carb thing or something else?

Dixedreg - This is my best advice for all that are having your problem. Try the Olivia method.

Make sure your numbers (carbs/fat/protein/sodium too) stay in the green. Move your body as much as you can. Drink as much water as you can. If you aren't drinking 8 cups a day, try your hardest to get up to it. Get more than 6 hours of sleep. Less than that cuts your metabolism by 15%. Lose the alcohol. That cuts metabolism down A LOT!! Take a good prenatal multivitamin (I use Belly-Bar. I'm not pregnant but something I read about.) and Biotin (also read about). Something that will make my scale NOT MOVE is eating chocolate. I don't know why but there it is. I'm almost 51 and have been in menopause for over three years. I'm in the 130's and my scale is still moving. I'm not saying this to na-na-na-na-na but to show that what I'm writing about is working. I make sure my weigh in is after a complete rest day. I truly hope this will help you also!
