    Hi Everyone!!

    Just got back from vacation in Cuba yesterday. I will not be weighing in on Monday.
    However, I will be working hard to get rid of the vacation weight all this week.
    I will weigh in next Monday.

    I haven't been checking in enough....so a few of these are older and i'm sure i missed others:

    Yay2012 - i love your inspirational book idea. I'm reading one on Walking the Appalachian Trail when i exercise bike. As the time passes i think i work harder lol....

    Poopoomonkey - um pant size 2x smaller?? don't worry about the weight. you are rockin' getting healthier :).

    Redbird99 - sending a friend request. i think we may have much some things in common. open to anyone who wants to FR me as well.

    Lady Persia/Julidav.: I have a MIL in a similar situation as your loved ones. SIL is the caretaker though. In my book, you both get big & huge breaks.....in this case you just can only do so much. Big hugs for you both.:heart:

    Thank goodness I worked out very hard this week. Teacher appreciation week did me in with home made meals from parents and chocolate covered strawberries etc. No loss, but no gain. I'm playing tennis this morning and working with my trainer this afternoon!!! Hope to get back on track this week. hope everyone else had a great week and lost a lot of weight!!

    Well, I had another great week as far as weight loss is concerned, but a truly horrible week in my personal life. My coward of a husband ran off leaving just a note behind. I'm going to be having a tough time for awhile trying to get all of my ducks in a row now that I'm on my own financially. I'm hoping sheer determination can keep me on track during this time. My emotions are surprisingly in check & I'm handling this pretty well, so I'm not about to throw in the towel with my own personal journey. I sure hope everyone else had a MUCH better week than I did though.

    EXTREMELY AGGRAVATED!!! I'm working out 2 - 3 times a day 4 - 5 days a week at the least and staying under my cals and I'm going backwards... I would like to blame it all on muscle gain but after losing 43 lbs, I'd like to lose the rest!!!

    Not doing as well as I had anticipated. Kinda stuck at a plateau. Hopefully I can kick-start my metabolism somehow. Doesn't help when TOM is around too.

    here is my weigh in from saturday am...i'm up this am but i know it's water wt from not enough H2O and too much sodium this weekend.....i'll be back down in a day or two and i just want to stay on the same reporting day as in the past....it feels like a "lie" which is why i'm confessing/giving an explanation LOL...hope everyone is having a nice start to their week...

    193.5 this week. Just started the olivia method and am determined to get this weight off. I changed my h.i.i.t from 30 second intervals to 1 minute and what a difference that made. I was struggling to get through last night where normally I finished no problem.

    Hello everyone! I missed weigh-in last week! I did weigh myself last Monday AM....but when I went online to post the weight...my internet connection wasn't working. The phone company guys were outside working on the box in the street in front of my house so I'm blaming them, lol. Anyway.....I got busy after that and forgot to post.

    My life has been way crazy this whole year. I thought by now things would have settled down. Not!!!!! My youngest daughter went back to college for her nursing degree, so she's been bringing her 3 little ones to my house 4 or 5 times a week depending on her and her husband's schedule. Their children are 4, 3 and 6 months...and the kids sleep over 2 times during the week. Plus my other daughter who lives a few miles away from me...she's the one with 4 kids (3 girls and a boy) and they all get on and off the school bus at my house during the week so I see them just about every day. They sleep over a lot too....and I'm the troop leader for the 3 girls. My son's 3 boys usually only come over on the weekends. My DIL is also a nurse...and she works weekends...but my son has been working OT on the weekends lately....so they bring the boys to me. They're 7, 3,and 11 months.
    And...this weekend I had the 7 youngest grandchildren with me all weekend cause all their parents had plans for the weekend. Forget working out...by the time they all left yesterday at 9 pm I barely made it to my bed I was so tired. LOL.

    So onto another week. No kids here yet today...but I should be taking the oldest granddaughter to a nursing home later this afternoon. She and two of her GS friends are doing their silver award project for the nursing home and they need to put in 50 hours each total when working on the award. They only just started their project last week...so lots of hours to do yet.

    This is astounding. I have no idea why the scale is not moving. It does not make sense. I am exceedingly frustrated!
    Short of eating lettuce and water all week, I am at a loss as to what the problem is.

    Slow and steady wins the race... haha. I was down to 194 earlier this week but as I said, I have certainly discovered everything in moderation is key! Also, never realized how many calories were in alcohol until MFP! What a wake-up call! For someone that rarely drinks, that will be more motivation to continue to be the DD. :laugh:

    I was down more before the weekend, but had to go visit my mom and her family this weekend, so there was a lot of people forcing food down my throat, complaining about my weight, but then also complaining that I don't eat enough...     Happy Family day to everyone (Canadians at least not sure if Americans have that day too) I got a little carried away last week. I thought I would have one cheat day and up my calories to shock my body because, I lowered my calories the week before but 1 cheat day turned into 2 which turned into 3 and now i'm paying for it. Hope everyone has a great day and congrats to the losers.
